It works great. Used it on my go kart and it runs great

Three screws off then on and I’m tilling. Fit perfect. Unfortunately plastic components similar to the original. Will definitely fail in two or three years. Cheap and readily available

Cannot comment on durability of this item as it's only been used a handful of times. Briggs and Stratton pull starts cost more. About double to triple the price. The bolt holes align perfectly. However, the depth of the pull start is too shallow. This is not the fault of the manufacturer as it is not designed to fit a Briggs. I have an old third hand generator I didn't want to put any money into that just needed a recoil starter. I modified this item to fit by adding small flat washers between this starter and the bolt holes. It starts fine with this recoil starter. We will see about durability over time.
