I am a 65 year old Black Man with moderate gray brows, mustache and a goatee beard. I use the Black color. I have excellent results because of this trick: After application, I use a facial tissue to brush the colored hair lightly until the results look natural. The wiping removes all stickiness and any extra coloring on the skin which would look over done close up. Get up close in the mirror, brush off excess with tissue, you'll know when the balance is just right for you. Best Wishes!

I use Just For Men permanent dye to color my beard, and it's easy, fast, economical and effective. The only problem is, it grows out. Not the dye's fault, certainly. But it gets tiresome having to touch up the roots once a week. So, I picked up one of these. And — to be fair — it DOES work. I mean, it's basically "man-scara," because that's exactly how you use it: apply it with the brush to achieve uniform color. But there are problems. Whereas the dye offers really even, consistent color, the brush-in gets smeary, clumpy, and sticky. Any over-application looks like you drew on your face with a marker. And although it covers the greys, if you're expecting the same result as the dye, you're going to be disappointed. This dries really matte / flat-looking, and also incredibly stiff. It's also IMPOSSIBLE to wash out. It's like putting a liquid wax onto your beard that hardens when it dries. So, while I thought it would be a viable touch-up that would help save the time and effort of having to re-apply the dye every 7-10 days, it winds up being far more trouble than it's worth. You'd be better off just getting some lash mascara or an eyebrow pencil to fill between the dyes. Bottom line: I won't buy it again.

Tried once but so far product gets 5 stars. Natural look easy to apply and particularly lasts after showering!

Good stuff I’ve tried many different beard dyes and this one hands down gets the job done highly recommended

Since 2016 I was using JFM dye but every so often it would burn my skin or make me feel itchy. Finally I found this alternative. Reason I even use beard coloring is because my hair on head is still full dark brown and looks weird with white beard. I barely have white strand on head. All in beard. THE GOOD: - No Itching at all. - Much easier to apply than i thought it would be...real easy. I can do a quick application in 3 minutes. (I dont overcolor and make it look unantural which is a HUGE mistake most men make., dont cake it! A few grays showing is better for natural look) - Does not run in heat. I worked outside and it didnt run. It does slowly come off if you touch beard, and things like that. So try to avoid contact with beard. - Great for that Zoom meeting or youtube video. -Colors look good and accurate. MINOR CONS: - Only last the day. Wish they had this exact product except longer lasting.. - Hard to tell how many applications you have left because tube is not see through. So you have. to guess. Keep an extra in case you run out at critical time. - If this is for a date may not work cause at touch the beard will feel hard and if pressed will come off. Overall Highly reccomend I really like it. better that the JFM traditional dye, 100% less messier and no itchyness. ADDED: Lots of what you read in one star posts seems like user error to me.

Decided to give this a go as it seemed easy enough to use compared to dying the hair. Once applied it looked great. It’s pretty much like a rub-in coating that “paints” the hair and it dries after a few minutes. The hair will feel stiff after it dries - a bit like putting wax in your hair. It washes out with soap but I had to scrub a bit to get it out.

I am using it to fill thin eyebrows. Great for that. Only a very little is needed. You need to figure out the application and practice as it is very easy to apply too much and then it looks unnatural. I am using second dry eyebrow brush to blend in the colour. Stays all day, sweat proof, my favourite among others.

This product is very useful and a great way to quickly cover gray hairs on the go. However, you do need to be careful, as the color can sometimes rub off on clothing and leave a stain. It works best when you’re wearing black or other dark colors.
