Q: Does this dry shiny or matte? I need to make shiny resin pieces.

silicone itself don't differ as shiny or matte, 100% depends on the master piece's surface, if the master piece surface is shiny, then the silicone mold will come out shiny like polished resin or polished metal, if the master surface is matte, the silicone mold will come out matte, like plaster. Silicone is acting like a "copycat" or "shadow".

Q: #2: I saw a review said u can brush it on the master to save on silicone, any reason why it wouldn't work? keep layering til it's thick as needed.

This silicone origin is designed for pouring molds making, if you need to use it for brush-on molds, you will need to add into thickeners to change it.

Q: 1st question: What is the difference between this and super elastic 1 that is Jade and is 21.16 oz? There is almost a $10 price difference. Thanks!
