DANISH ENDURANCE Merino Wool Base Layer Men, Thermal Set Men, Long Johns & Long Sleeve Top, Thermal Underwear

I’m homeless, and with the recent –3° cold, this set kept me comfortable — not warm-warm, but definitely not freezing. I wore it with a beanie, thick cotton joggers, wool socks, a thick cotton T-shirt, and a medium-thick cotton hoodie. I wasn’t “properly layered” the way outdoorsy people talk about; this was just an average person dressing normally. When walking, it actually got lovely and warm — even a bit hot unless I stopped now and then to cool off. Despite looking thin and slightly see-through when stretched, it hasn’t developed any odour, and it has held up well aside from some bobbling. Honestly, it’s worth the money. For winter activities where you’ll be moving — dog walking, construction, anything active — the 180g version is perfect. For someone living outdoors more consistently, or even hobbyist survival types, I’d definitely recommend spending the small extra amount for the same brand’s 260g heavier-weight set. The difference would be huge: you would actually feel warm while sitting still. But I'd imagine once you start moving, you’ll heat up fast, to the point where even stripping layers might not cool you down unless you completely stop. The top stays tucked into the leggings without riding up once. It’s extremely soft, too. Overall, genuinely worth the money. Hand wash or use a delicate cold cycle, and I don’t see any reason it wouldn’t last, even if it looks a bit delicate on close inspection.

Light, warm and comfortable and I wear it in summer as it keeps an even temperature. Some of the other garments I can only wear for short periods as it is either too tight or very loose.

Good quality item as described, unfortunately just let down with late delivery as it was part of an Xmas gift.

They are made from merino Wool so great for wicking away sweat also does not smell as has silver in it which helps with odours. Keep you really warm during the coldest months of the year. Will definitely buy another set and recommend them to friends.

My grandson - 21 next week, works outside mostly, and requested warm underwear for his birthday present. This underwear is superb quality and good value for money. He hasn't worn them yet. I think we will be ordering more.

Within 1 week of use, the material was fraying and there was loose threads coming out creating holes in the top, the bottoms were not so bad for the fraying but diddnt really add much insulation as they are so thin, same as the top. They are both 1 strand of wool thick and come apart very easily.

This base layer is very warm and feels high quality. It keeps me cozy without making me feel sweaty or sticky.

I’ve been using this thermal underwear for a couple of weeks now, and I’m very satisfied. It keeps me warm, fits well, and the size and proportions are spot on. So far, I’m very happy with the purchase. And the discounted price made it even better.
