Sometimes technology seems like magic - and so it is with these sleek, unobtrusive scales. A sturdy glass plate with no moving parts that measures weight? Yes indeed, and sensitive enough to give a reading when blowing onto the surface. These scales have worked faultlessly for a couple of weeks now - I use them a few times each day, both for straightforward measurements and using the "tare" function, which allows one to cancel out the weight of a container. The controls are very responsive, requiring the lightest touch to change function or, holding a littler longer, to turn off - and being a smooth sheet of glass, the surface is very easy to keep clean. Highly recommended. *** Edit to add: If anyone's curious about the battery life - mine expired (indicating "Lo") a couple of days ago, giving a life of around 2.5 years when used a couple of times a day, every day, since purchase.

I was a little sceptical about how well these scales were going to work, the touch sense buttons being a concern of mine. I thought perhaps it wouldn't be as responsive as i liked, or consistent enough, but actually these are a great set of scales. The lack of any 3D buttons means that the surface is easily cleaned and i have found no problems with sensitivity or accuracy. The ability to turn the scales on/off is also a very useful one. It does automatically turn itself off after a period of inactivity so as not to waste the battery which is great and nothing i haven't experienced before. However the on/off feature is new to me and is certainly useful for when you know you're finished with the scales and don't want to waste the battery. It seems like an obvious thing to say, but it is a useful feature. The scales seem to be sturdily built too, i've not been entirely gentle with them and i've had them for a bit under a year now, but i trust that they will last well.

I have had these scales for around 2 weeks now, and I am thrilled with them. As others before me have said, very lightweight (even knowing so I was still surprised to feel how light it is!) I find them to be attractive scales, my partner always saying 'these look really good!' when I get the out in the Kitchen. They are sensitive, and appear to weigh accurately. I have no problems with the TARE function, just the swipe of a finger and 3,2,1, the scale has zero'd itself. Excellent. I was also very pleased with their ability to convert between g, oz, fl, and ml. Only issues are I fear it may not last long, but this is probably due to it being so lightweight, rather than any actual fault! A bit fiddly to clean, as the touch buttons turn on the scales as you do so. Also they turn off if the weight does not change for several seconds... not different to most other scales, but I am usually multitasking around the kitchen when using the scales so this has disappointed me somewhat. Other than them very minor issues, these are the perfect scales for a small-time cook/baker; I would recommend them strongly and would definitely buy again - assuming they last as long as they hopefully will.

Last 1 month beyond the warranty period and used far too many batteries during the time it was working.

Poor the bowl is ok well made but the unit itself is very flimsy constantly turning off the off button and unit are to small and it’s the same button for both I would go for something better

I was looking for a cheap kitchen scale for my student accommodation and I came across this one, which seemed cheap enough and had decent reviews. Now, don't expect great quality, but it does it's job pretty well for the money. The scale itself doesn't look very expensive, mine has some dust particles in between the plastic casing and the actual display, but I'm not too bothered. It's really lightweight and as other users have commented, seems a bit flimsy. Didn't come with any set of instructions, so I had to figure it out on my own. It did include batteries, which was a plus. The weight displayed seems accurate, so it fulfills it's purpose. However, it has a tendency to turn itself on if you just move it around, which can be quite bothersome. Also, I have not figured out how to turn the TARE function on, I mean how to reset it to 0 while it has other items on. If you just turn the scale on with a bowl already on it, it will show 0. However, if you place the bowl after it's been turned on, it will just show the bowl's weight. I haven't figured a way to get it to 0 without turning the scale off and on again, so if anyone can shed some light it would be welcome. Other than that, I think for its price it's a good product. It comes nowhere near my older Tefal electronic scale, which is a lot sturdier, more reliable and good quality overall, but we're not talking of the same price range. I would definitely recommend buying it if you're looking for something cheap, it offers good value for the money. I've had it for 3 months, so far it's been working pretty neat.

Easy to use, lightweight, very good for the money

Bought to replace another brand that succumbed to a liquid spill, these scales are accurate, well thought out and easy to use. No seams in the upper surface make these scales far more resistant to liquid and ingredient spills than other brands. The max weight capacity of 5Kg (10+Ibs) mean that it is easy to weight ingredients in mixing bowls, bread pans without the need to decant afterwards. It is also easy to add ingredients in single gram increments, so slowly adding 5g of yeast to a bread mix is not a problem (just allow time for the increasing weight to register). Overall we are very impressed :)

La mejor Báscula que he tenido en muchísimos años. Sencilla de manejar, encender, la tara super fácil, la enciendes con el cacharro donde vayas a poner el componente y se enciende a 0 depues te pesa lo que eches. Las baterías después de mucho tiempo todavía no las he cambiado. es pequeña y delgada, cabe en cualquier sitio. Y no soy familiar de fabricante ;-)

Pour le prix je la trouve géniale, plateau en verre design et facile à nettoyer, hyper fine et donc facile à ranger. J'apprécie aussi la mesure des volumes, c'est bien pratique (mais j'imagine que ça ne concerne que les volumes d'eau 😉 ). Je n'ai pas vérifié sa précision mais bon, pour la cuisine de la maison ça ne peut que le faire. Elle monte jusqu'à 5 Kg par incréments de 1 gr (mais est-ce que cela prend en compte son propre poids avoisinant les 500 gr ?). Il ne lui manquerait que le rétro éclairage pour être parfaite.

Exactamente lo que esperaba. Muy útil para recetas en las que se exige precisión en las cantidades. Fácil de limpiar.
