I have to admit to being a little dubious when I received this item in the post. They look so... light, cheap and ..rubbish, sorry! I only bought them because the saucer of baking soda in the fridge, though effective, kept tipping over. I put one of these into the fridge door when they arrived and that tiny miracle worker got rid of the strange odour my fridge had developed after I'd moved house and disconnected the fridge for about four hours. This first one has been working for over a month now and no sign of it losing its effectiveness. I would highly recommend this item.

The idea is good and simple, peel back the sticky part and leave the thin flat object in your fridge. It absorbs odours (killed dead the stench of raw garlic in my fridge in around an hour) and continues to work for some considerable time afterwards - a month on and I am still using the first one!The one and only downside is that the carbon inside the white plastic is a little unstable and forms a powder on the surface - mucky fingers if you are not careful - and it does leave a slight sooty stain in the fridge.Given the choice of garlic scented milk, mushrooms and yoghurt, over the slightly dusty odour killer, I know which one I choose!

It is extremely difficult to know how effective these are, but they do seem to be a useful "maintenance" and are slim and unobtrusive (unlike some which are either a daft round shape or very thick so take up appreciable 'fridge space). Other reviews suggest they may be inadequate to eradicate an existing problem odour and I cannot comment on that. They seem certainly worth having.

Great product, real value for money and really effective in reducing the smells in the fridge. Would recommend. Just as effective as others which are priced much higher

I use these to keep the fridge in my motor home fresh as the fridge is turned off most of the time. Surprisingly difficuult to track down in the shops and these were quickly delivered and excellent value for money

One one worked well in fridge. Found 2 New uses for themPut one in certain treatment of bread bin after wash and dry, with hair drier through vent cloth. Then a Fridge Fresh & food.ess smell breD last longer. Fin Was over night unplug Microwave a d leave in for 24 hours take freshener out. Plug in and try kit smells does but attic freshener beyond further use just bin it

It seems to be working well but we have only received one although we ordered and paid for two. My rating is based on the lack of the second item.
