I bought these because I needed them

Great value sterile swabs packs of 40 with 5 swabs per pack, ideal for eyes or wounds. I personally used them for irrigating my eye after a cataract operation Ideal to keep in your medicine chest for wound cleaning etc.

I have been using these swabs for years now as I have a draining seton stitch in place (due to perianal abscess complications from pouchitis/Ulcerative Colitis). Frankly, these dressings sit in between my bum cheeks and they never cause me friction, soreness, skin irritation or broken skin. In fact, I know if I forget to put them in as I start getting sore and chaffed after a few hours. These are, quite literally, a sanity saver for me. I would not be able to walk my dog for hours at a time without them; I would be in agony. Being 4 ply, I only need to use 2 at a time and change them 3 times a day, so a pack lasts me well. They do not bobble or fray, even though my knitted silicone stitch is constantly rubbing against the dressings. I honestly do not know what I would do without them.

Always perfect

Having recently had surgery my wound was left open to heal and the area had been bandaged. However, I had been advised of bleeding and therefore, I needed to change bandages frequently. These have prooved to be brilliant on each and every dressing when needed and especially if and when bleeding occours more often. The absorbancy aspect on the non-woven swab was kind to the centre and surrounding area of the wound, and as time went on it provided the extra cushioned affect that was so needed during the recovery and healing stage. Also you receive so many at a low price that are essential when one cannot get out after surgery.

These were great for cleaning wounds and can be used to out over winds. Soft and gentle. Excellent product. Did not come in a box but would have liked to have been able to order smaller quantities for example 10 x 5 but not in single packets.

Pleased with item. Very same as hospital supplied. Made mistake of ordering 2 packs as didn’t realise there is 200 in each pack (thought there was 40 in each ). Good value for top product
