Skylanders Imaginators Starter Pk

A nice addition to the Skylander's franchise, but it can be complicated for younger kids or those not familiar with other Sylander's games. The original Skylanders and Giants are simpler, since you only need to purchase the Skylander figures, but in later versions there are the figures plus additional items to purchase for users to utilize the full game. This means spending A TON of money on each game. For example, for Imaginators you need to purchase the figures plus creation crystals (and then additional mystery gear packages if you want to have all options for your player). Figures are about $15 a pop, $10 for crystals and $6 for mystery gear packages. ...... If you just play with the figures included, it would become boring very quickly. However, if you are able to purchase several other figures, the game is really immersive and interesting, something kids will always reach for (and adults enjoy as well). Bonus is that the figures are made well, my kids enjoy playing with them outside of the video game, and I appreciate that!

Won't play on Australian console. So upsetting, my son has been asking for this for months and just opened it on CHRISTMAS DAY and it says it's the wrong area code. Don't ship area code specific games to different area codes!

Thought ibwas paying 100 for the game and all the figures from the starter pack but ended up getting only the game. Product info was a bit deceiving by the photos and description but game showed up is good condition
