DecoArt DS17-9 Dads17-9 Multi Purpose Acrylic Primer & Sealer 8 Oz

This is my review of DecoArt’s Multi-Purpose Acrylic Primer & Sealer I use this product and mix it with a bit of non-water based thinner. Then I apply a thin coating to some of my watercolors. It does not make them waterproof; however, if a drop of water accidentally gets on, it beads up and allows me to wipe it off before it destroys the painting. So, for me, it is working perfectly.

This sealer is the only one I use. Works great

Works very well! Clear coat and you can use it as a base coat with a 1:1 mixture of the other color! Great value as well!

Even with diluting, there is still a somewhat thick layer of material that has to be sanded off. Most sanding sealers penetrate and almost disappear.

This sealer is easy to work with and dries fairly quickly. Matte finish. Good quality

I used this on my terracotta pots as a base coat/ sealant before painting. It applies easily with a paintbrush, and it's water-based, so very easy cleanup. It goes on white but dries completely clear. Super happy with the outcome. My pots actually turned out great even before I painted them. This is a great product and definitely does the trick.

You won’t be disappointed! It is very durable and easy to use.

I haven’t used this yet but the product needs to be sealed better. Wrapped in a plastic bag (thank goodness) but it leaked all over the bag which in turn was all over the bottle. It does work well on your hands!

I liked using this sealant. It dries decently fast, works great for a primer and a sealant as well! I brushed this on a 3D printed mask I bought on etsy and it worked very well on the surface! It doesn't chip either which is a plus for myself because I'm quite clumsy. And it doesn't have a strong smell like other sealants do

I used it to cover rust on part of the metal on a commode. It covered with a clear finish. It is now ready to paint. Some areas need two coatings
