Geo F.Trumper West Indian Extract of Limes Skin Food 200ml

Been using this as an aftershave for over 15 years. Tried a few scents but lime is my favourite. Since I started shaving my head, I also use it on a daily basis just to soothe the skin. May seem pricey, but you don't need a lot and one bottle, if used correctly can last nearly a year

This is so good after a wet shave and isn't greasy like moisturiser. It smells fab too but doesn't clash or overwhelm your main scent. The plastic bottle and cap is awful though, spoils the experience of using quality shaving products. I'd pay extra for glass or ceramic

I cannot tell you how happy I am with this and how much I even now look forward to shaving! This not only smells great but has made a huge difference to my general skin health.A must buy

This stuff is amazing. At first glance it may look expensive, but it is worth every penny (or pence or whatever the British equivalent is). Use it before shaving to condition skin for the bladed assault to come. When you are finished shaving and rising your face use it again as an aftershave balm. I have really sensitive skin and used to need to use a quart of something like Nivea for sensitive skin after shaving, with his stuff I use maybe a pinto bean sized amount and it's perfect. My skin feels better than if I has used some namby pamby lady's face cream (not that I have) after I apply skin food. I suspect that the 200ml bottle I bought will last me at least a year, if not longer. During the same period I would have likely used about 6 bottles of Nivea, so this actually ends up being cheaper. The only after shave product I liked before using skin food was Burt's Bees Bay Rum aftershave balm and they discontinued it. Some jerk face is selling the Burt's Bees on eBay for $100 a bottle (they used to cost 12). Skin food kicks the Burt's Bees ass. Order a sample of skin food from Trumpers first if you don't believe me, the only thing you'll be mad about after you do is that you will want tot buy the largest bottle available immediately. There is a 500ml bottle out there that you can buy a pump for but this store didn't have that stuff and honestly Geo F. Trumper's shipping charges are highway robbery.

I absolutely love this product. I use it as a pre shave treatment but it can be used as a post shave treatment also. The scent is really nice and a couple of drops added to a wet face before shaving gives a nice lubrication before adding shaving cream. There are cheaper products out there but you would have to look hard to find one that offers the same performance as Geo F Trumper West Indian Limes Skin Food.

Yes, it does sound expensive for one product, but this last a very long time. You certainly get your moneys worth.Arrived very quickly during a time when other online orders seemed to take an eternity due to christmas and severe weather. The product itself is wonderful. One only needs to use a small amount, and it soothes the skin after a close shave, moisturising and maing one look good, and feel sensational. The scent of lime caresses the senses and is a real pick-me-up, especially on these cold dark damp mornings. It shall be even more devine in summer.Highly recommend you treat yourself to this product. Why ? Because you're worth it !I use mine after a wet shave with Taylors of Bond Street Lime & lemon Shaving cream.The coral skin food is also a wonderful product. Compliments Taylors of old Bond Streets rose shaving cream.

I've bought this for my husband every few months for two years now - he swears by it. Lovely but not overpowering smell, lasts for a long time (a bottle lasts months) and stylish packaging.

This is pricey, and in my opinion the fragrance - although lovely, just does not last very long at all! and in no way is a reflection of the price paid!
