Great but. Strong
We use all thread quite a bit on the job site. It works well, but you have to hold the off thread very tight. A vice would be great, but since all my work is on site, I don’t have one with us, but it’s still better than trying to get the nut on, a fresh cut off thread

Works as advertised
For the price point, I wasn't expecting it to work on high grade steel bolts, but it worked well. It's lighter than expected for its size and I imagine the cheap materials will wear down fast with time, but for the time being it's worth it for the price point.

Really Works
This is one of these tools that you don't need very often but when you need it, you NEED it. This one worked great on 1/4-20 screws. Took all of 6 seconds to put a nice chamfer on the end of a screw cut to length with a hacksaw. I still ran a wire wheel over it and chased it with the nut already threaded onto the screw. Pretty certain it will work just a well with larger screws, I just haven't needed it yet. Recommend this one to all my rowdy screw-cutting friends.

Not very stable, even at low speeds.
This tool appears to be well made, however it tends to jump around even as great care is taken to center the blades on the shaft end. I tried it on four different size shafts and got a nice smooth chamfer result with only one -- a 1/2" shaft. Shafts are mild steel. Possibly, this tool does a better job on larger shaft ends. And while I do understand the importance of variables such as speed and pressure exerted on the tool, I believe that an additional blade or two would help to keep the tool in contact and centered on the shaft in order to provide a smoother more consistent result.
