Maxspect Aiptasia Control 100ml Treatment for Marine Coral Reef Aquariums

Dreaded Aiptasia- Though I would give this a go as the Red Sea Aiptasia X was not available. This product seems to the same thing as Aiptasia X by making the anemone implode, but it leaves a solid residue behind. Fish and corals are not affected.The only draw back is the product is very thick and if you do not put the stopper lid back on, the product can dry out and solidify. Difficult to get the last amount out of the bottle.Before use, shake very hard and well. Wipe syringe off before placing in tank, the product is think and coats the outer side of the syringe. Can leave a white residue on worktops.furnitue, so do not place directly on them.

This looks the same as AiptasiaX but a larger volume of product for less money. It works extremely well. The solution is quite thick, despite shaking the bottle before using it seems to be so thick that it's difficult to suck up into the syringe. But it does work. Glass anemones are killed! Aiptasia may well make me knock this hobby on the head....but this product does work.

This worked on my 100L tank that was covered in aptasia. 2 weeks later and all inverts, corals and fish are all still healthy and happy! Would recommend.

This aptasia controller is fantastic it does what it is meant to do and dose not make tank water cloudy. Very easy to apply as well with straight syringe fitting and and angled one as well
