Perfect size and angle
I needed a riser for my laptop that was enough that my wrists were lifted enough to not hurt but not so much that the screen covered up my external monitor (I use both screens). This was the perfect solution. It is sturdy. It has vent holes on the bottom so it doesn't overheat. I have been using it for a while now and it is perfect.

Can hold a Roland MC 707 (or TR-8) at a better angle
Bought stand to use with my Roland and it works reasonably well. Pressing the pads near the bottom and around the surface does not shake it.Rubber feet under Roland have good contact with the stand.

No more overheating!
The fan ran almost constantly when using my hp laptop. I bought a new battery. That didn't help. I purchased this riser and all is well. I like the clean look of the acrylic. It doesn't slide around on my glass desk when using the laptop. Works perfect for me

Just right
I am handicap and it’s very hard to type with just one hand, but I found this little stand to be just the perfect little help that I needed. I didn’t have to put anything together plus very light white. These are all things that I have to look for When purchasing products. I love how you can’t really notice it because of it being acrylic and for the price it’s all around right buy.
