I have it on my iPad through the kindle app and it's really good. Don't expect this to tie in to dragon ball, because so far it didn't. That said, I love jaco and it's going to be awesome to see him cross over into dragon ball. Think of this as a separate story, in the same universe, it's set just before the events of dragon ball. Awesome! EDIT: I have now finished this book 100% and the last chapter ties into dragon ball. You will meet a young bulma and her family, you will also see baby goku. SPOILER: jaco is sent to earth to kill goku, as goku was sent to earth to destroy the earth. All in all this book is a must read. I LOVED it. Now let's talk about the dragon ball minus spin off at the end. I wouldn't read this if I were you, it contradicts with dragon ball, as stated in dragon ball z, goku was sent to earth to destroy it, as all Saipan babies are, yet in minus bardock sends goku to earth for his safety. WHAT. BARDOCK IS ALSO PATREAYED AS A GOOD GUY? WHAAAT. it's a horrid mini part and it does not tie into the dragon ball series, but this review is for the jaco manga, and it's a must buy. 5 stars. There were a few issues I had like bulma being insanely smart at 5 years old, yet in dragon ball, she was never that smart. And a few small things, but for the most part, it's an amazing manga, and I cannot wait to see jaco in dragon ball super. BUY THIS MANGA.. Really fun read.

Love this!
Lovely charming story from akira toriyama. Essential reading for fans of Dragon ball. I recommend avoiding spoilers and jumping right in.

A great surprise! Hilarious and entertaining!
I was so completely surprised by this manga, it was both intriguing and hilarious! If it wasn't tied to Dragonball it would still hold up as a fantastic read for Dragonball fans or no. The fact it is tied to Dragonball just makes it better. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to read a fun manga!

Superb and spectacular. Master material
This volume is what the dragonball needed a closure of how it all started and who was the legendary warriors parents. Its a must for all mange and anime fans. You enjoy reading it with humor and laughter but also tears of joy and sadness. Well done Akira Toriyama.You did it again.

amazing read!
This has to be one of the best mangas I've read in a while. It mite be because I'm a massive DBZ fan but I just feel comfortable and great reading something new.

I enjoyed this very much! It was nice revisiting the Dragonball universe. I just wish it was longer and had more about Goku's past.

The manga follows the story of a powerful Galactic Patrolman named Jaco who is stranded on Earth. Tights, one of the main protagonists along with Jaco and an old scientist named Omori get up to varied tasks while trying to fix Jacos ship. Characters from Toriyama’s other manga series make cameo appearances as well; such as a Martian (who is the Galactic King), a Namekian, a Tech-Tech alien, Merlusa from Kintoki, Daigoro Kurigashira, Goku, Grandpa Gohan, and the Brief family. Was an amazing pre cursor to the dragon ball series and I feel Jaco was a good story on its own and only got better with the inclusion of bardock and gokus mother, vegeta and radditz as kids...this manga got me. I have been looking for the back story of Goku, planet Vegeta, and Bardock for a long time, this does'nt only answer so many questions, but it also has a great story.

If Fun is what you are looking for then you'll not be disappointed at all. Based on the Dragon Ball universe, but don't sweat yourself, you can enjoy it anyway because it hasn't many ties. If you know something about Dragon Ball then it helps for some extra fun. If not, it will still make you laugh. and the best thing for a lot of people, this is a one volume deal!! No worries of having to follow it!
