SHEGLAM Full Coverage Foundation Makeup Long Lasting Waterproof Matte Dewy Liquid Foundation - Butterscotch

I first started buying SheGlam makeup products on Shein and was always pleased with them. So, I decided to try their foundation. I need full coverage because I have irregular pigmentation (light and dark spots) and some acne scarring. I've been through what feels like thousands of "full coverage" foundations that were not, in fact, full coverage. The better ones were really expensive, though. This SheGlam version is a game changer without breaking the bank. There are a lot of colors to choose from, and I lucked out and picked a shade that works with a summer (faux) tan. The foundation goes on smoothly and does appear a little thicker - which tracks for being full coverage. Once you blend it in and go over areas that need more, it doesn't appear or feel like you have a thick coat of makeup on. I set it with powder, and it looks very natural and even. I'll definitely continue to buy this foundation and highly recommend it.

This is a BEAUTIFUL FOUNDATION. The coverage cannot be beat - it covers like a concealer, it doesn’t feel heavy, it doesn’t look heavy, it works very well even without a primer on oily-a$$ skin like mine, and I, achem, slept in it and guess what: my face still looked fresh and matte the next morning ✨😆😅😄😄The color I use is Nude. **** Heads up about SheGlam makeup: I have Nude in their powder foundation and it’s a touch too warm/a touch darker than my skin tone. This foundation in Nude? About a 90-95% perfect match. I also have their pot concealer in nude and it’s 100% perfect on my bare skin. Go figure. So their colors may vary a bit from product to product even if it’s the same shade/name. Back to the foundation: I don’t know the term for this but I’ve used other foundations that like, … didn’t have as consistent coverage/formulas. The litmus test is applying it to my nose: does it cover completely or does it apply in a sort of sheer/patchy way? And we’re talking GOOD foundations here: L’Oreal Tru Match and Milani Perfect & Conceal, which had been my HG foundation the past 3-4 years. For reference I was a 001/001A in their shad range. So when I apply the SheGlam to my nose, it covers fully *immediately*, the consistency and coverage stay full and consistent, it doesn’t remove or lighten the coverage when I pat it around with my beauty blender sponge, and it covers skin texture, discoloration, and it flows beautifully over larger pores/texture and “fills” them in without just depositing product inside the pores like some foundations can do. The formula is VERY, VERY well blended, it’s a buildable full-coverage, but it still looks like skin, just better. NO NEED FOR CONCEALER and I say this with legit bright / dark discoloration spots on my chin. The foundation flawlessly covers and helps with that texture, too. Just gorgeous and amazing. I follow with Cover Girl clean loose powder in 115 all over (including under my eyes, to set) and it’s a perfect combo. I mean the makeup and coverage just LAST. And it stays MATTE. You know all the Il Makiage ads and how seamlessly the foundations blend into the women’s faces. I color matched with Il Makiage to shade 120 and it ended up being WAY too dark, orangey, and even the coverage and consistency didn’t compare to SheGlam. Like texture, coverage, and consistency were nowhere near as good as this stuff. When I applied the Il Makiage I was like Oh man :((( and when I applied SheGlam I was having the reaction the Il Makiage ladies had. Cant recommend it enough!! Did I mention I also use the foundation under my eyes as concealer?? Works perfectly and just require/ loose lighter-colored powder to set. Just buy it lol. I haven’t even used it with a primer, that’s how freaking good it is even on plain/just-moisturized skin.

​I am giving this SHEGLAM foundation a solid 4 out of 5 stars because it is an excellent option if you are looking for a comfortable, lightweight foundation that doesn't feel heavy on the face. It is perfect for a natural, everyday look. While it is advertised as full coverage, I found that you definitely need to layer it to get a truly flawless finish. It does a great job of covering up standard blemishes, but dark discolorations can be a bit tricky to hide, as it definitely handles surface blemishes better than deep uneven skin tone. ​If you have darker spots or major discolorations, you will likely want to mix or pair this with a good concealer to get the exact level of coverage you are looking for. However, if your skin doesn't have a lot of blemishes or deep discoloration to begin with, this will be absolutely perfect for you right out of the bottle. The best part about this product is how light it feels on the skin; it breathes well, doesn't cake up, and gives you a nice, even look without that heavy makeup mask feeling. Overall, it's a fantastic, affordable product for daily wear, especially if you prefer a lighter feel and don't mind a little extra layering or spot-concealing.

The only one I will use. This is a fantastic foundation if you get the right color. Nude is what I wear and it's perfect for my light olive skin. I was out in 104 weather with high humidity for 6 hrs but you would not know it with my makeup-it stayed perfect and girls were like -What are you wearing? It's so beautiful. I dont like Matte foundations but this is a Dewy Matte and looks flawless

I rarely write reviews but this product exceeded my expectations I have an autoimmune disorder which causes bright red spots on my face. Bright like headlights. The coverage with this product was excellent. The price was amazing compared with the $60 and $72 foundations I have tried. This has minimal settling into fine line and did not emphasize the texture on my face (I’m 69). I had read reviews about color match and I have very fair skin. I ordered Porcelain and it was perfect. If you are looking for coverage at a reasonable price, please give this a try.

This full coverage foundation is the perfect match for summer! I love the sleekness of the bottle. The foundation goes on smooth, isnt cakes or thin. It wears well and doesnt sweat off! I got my bottle and hour before going to a baseball game, in the rain, and it never bugged or smeared or fade. I will absolutely buy this again.
