The Three Little Pigs, Classic Children's Book, Guided Reading Level K (Brighter Child Keepsake Stories)

It’s a lovely story. My 3 year old had been covering it at preschool and kept reciting it so we purchased a copy for at home. We’ve read it countless times and she still enjoys it. I know other reviews say the ending has changed, but I honestly couldn’t remember what the original ending was so it didn’t cause an issue for us.

This is one of my grandsons favourite books, we lost the one he had when on holiday to Frankfurt. will give it to him when I see him in June when I visit the family in Spain. It is well illustrated and good value.

My 3 year old daughter picks this book out and it's a firm favourite at bedtime. She likes the pictures and it's not too long/too short. Just right for her age.

Good book for price

Bought for children at nursery who have loved the story very simple version with a good ending. Good manageable sized book for smaller children too

Pleased these books weren't expensive the pictures inside are terrible no good for children and very american but story is still there!

Bought this book to go in a story sack. Easy to read and nice illustrations. Pleasant ending as the wolf doesn't get eaten.

Lovely book but its not going to last long. Every single page has the dotted lines down it. Like something u would see in magazines to rip the picture out neatly. So I can see eventually when it starts to wear it will rip neatly down the line. Brought this for my 4 year old sons home work in which he enjoyed. Page 3 does not make sense at all "on many a sunny day". Also the houses that were made out off straw and sticks, when they got blown in it turned to paper with sticks and straw on it.

It’s always amazing to tell your kid the same story you’d been hearing when you were a child. Lovely.

Les textes sont faciles à lire et conforme aux contes que l'on connait. On en a acheté une dizaine il y a 3-4 ans en arrière et les petits ont bien accrochés. Nous passons de bons moments à lire et relire ces contes. A chaque fois on insiste plus sur le vocabulaire, les dessins aident à comprendre et aussi pour poser des questions. Seul bémol, le papier est "plastifié"ce qui est superbe mais la couverture n'est épaisse, c'est plus maniable mais ça s'abime plus vite aussi, surtout avec les plus petits mais on ne peut pas tout avoir!! Je recommande vivement. Très bon rapport qualité prix surtout qu'il n'est pas toujours facile de trouver des livres en anglais (et à petit prix).

This book expands bit on the story I remember, but I loved it! The illustrations are absolutely beautiful!

The books from this author are well-written and use good vocabulary beyond the simple basic story. My only regret with his story is that the wolf didn't propose to go to Mr. Jones' farm and get frightened away when they rolled down the hill in a barrel when the pigs outsmarted him, as it was in my childhood version. This wolf doesn't get boils either, sadly. Times have changed, and our villains just disappear. Maybe that's better for kids.
