No active noise cancellation!
In terms of sound quality, mobile app, and build quality, these headphones are amazing. The only issue I have with them is that they didn’t even bother to include ANC on a premium pair of true wireless headphones. This is not just expected at this price, it’s common and easy to include. Qualcomm offers very good ANC and most premium Bluetooth headphones like these are already using Qualcomm chipsets for their wireless control chip. It would have been so easy to implement, but instead, they chose not to. So the most I can give this product is 3/5 stars. Maybe on future generations, they can have all the big features that one expects for such a high price.

WOW! Amazing sound, microphone and app plus magnetic charging in a tiny case
The media could not be loaded. I am not tech savvy but I love music and audiobooks and appreciate ear buds I can manipulate, that are loud , have a balanced sound and a nice bass . The best pair of buds I ever had sound wise were the iPod first generation , I lost one, bought a replacement, but those kept falling out of my small ears constantly because they had no silicone or plastic . Over the years I had many other buds, pods, I did want to buy better ones but the price and the fear of not fitting or loosing them kept me away from buds costing over $200Imagine my joy when I was picked to give these Campfire Audio by Orbit buds a try.And wow, what an amazing sound comes it of these , like an full orchestra in my ear. I can hear everything, the sound is so good, so crisp, the bass is not cheap and overwhelming like some others and I do actually appreciate the simple settings . I never had a use for noice cancellation, the other ear buds and pods that had these I never really needed that feature. The Campfire app for this was easy to figure out and I love how I am able to use the preset equalizer settings and be able to make my own settings and save them. I made a setting for audiobooks, one for old school hip hop and another for bands like ELO , that’s how you can tell the difference in the audio quality, when an orchestra is playing in the background and you listened to the song a hundred times and then listen to it through these Campfire buds and go wow, it’s like you are in the concert hall.I was also so pleased by the presentation too, the tiny case that I can charge on my mag safe charger or via supplied cable. The many different sized ear pieces and they even give you a cute little orbit pin .The microphone is awesome as well, I can hear the call and the callers are no longer asking me if I was calling from underwater or in a cave with echo. Simply clear and easy to hear and be heard .The color at first was a bit wired but the amazing sound soon made me forget and now I couldn’t care less. Also since it said size medium I was very afraid that these would constantly fall out of my ears , I tested a few of the rubber and silicone tips and found that the smallest silicone tip fits perfectly. If you are on the fence , just give these a try and listen for yourself!

Bloated Mid-Bass
This is definitely far from the acceptable Campfire has to offer..especially for the $249 price. The dynamic driver is not well tuned the mid-bass is the most dominant and has a muffled midrange. This is judged on the off setting in the EQ.Even using the preset EQ settings do not make a difference. You have to manipulate the EQ for an acceptable output.I had to create a custom EQ setting near maxing out the 2k to 2.0db and slightly roll off 8k to 1.0db and treble -1.0db and plateau 14k to -1.0db. To solve the mid-bass bloat I had to drop the 500k to the bottom middle -7.0db and lower the 125 to -9.0db the sub-bass to -5.0dbNow this doesn’t do much for lack of detail or soundstage which are all muffled. The best I’ve achieved is a V-Curve and I’m mostly a Warm-Neutral guy. It would be preferred to manipulate the 1k, 5k and 10k range. Using an EQ should be for adjusting to a preference, not correcting mistakes in tuning. The connection is also not great even in direct unobstructed line of sight. The App is very slow to respond as well. This is the first wireless product from Campfire Audio and it shows. Now the good’ish, I guess. The seal with the included tips is great and the fit is comfortable. The design is perfect, but look like hearing aids. This is all is meaningless when it sounds in a blunt opinion….Bad.I wouldn’t recommend purchasing this
