Better than the factory part!
I bought this after the factory model quit. I had already replaced the the igniter and the temperature probe with factory items and I did not want to have to file another warranty claim so I bought this one. It was a great price for the product and did exactly what was expected. We have had it on the grill for about three months and have had no issues, in fact we were pleasantly surprised by it working better than expected! It seems durable and will do the job just fine!

Fits RecTeq 680
I have a RT680 that's second hand and I believe is a 2017. The gear box that is driven by the motor, and that drives the auger, seized. I had a hard time finding a replacement on Amazon. Every website that I found a replacement that specifically stated it would fit my grill was a BBQ specific supplier, and the part was roughly $66, and wouldn't arrive until after the New Year. This particular motor stated that it was good for Pitboss, Traeger, and more, but not Recteq. No where in people's descriptions did anyone specify that they had used this replacement part on a Recteq. So....I took a chance and it paid off. In fact, not only did I get in two days, but it's almost an exact match to the old, and there were no modifications made for it to fit. It fit great and it runs better than the old part. In fact, I've never had this grill go over 495, but with this new motor and gearbox it went to 505 degrees. This was a successful purchase, and I recommend this replacement part.

Works great!
Fixed my smoker and now I can use it again! It's not super expensive either so I am happy about that. It was easy to install into my pit boss Austin Xl. It turns the auger with ease now. Not sure what happened to the old one, just stopped working so this saved the day for me. I would for sure buy this again!
