Great book, highly recommended

The explanations are not all that clear for someone that does not have experience with data entry. The print is small and the illustrations are not printed in an easily readable format.I submitted a return request and was told I would receive a refund but do not need to return the book. I find this practice disturbing for several reasons. First, it makes me feel that I was trying to get something free. Also, its wasteful. If the book is not useful for me, it is likely useful for someone else. I don't mind taking it to an Amazon drop-off location, and I would rather do that than be given a free book I can't use.

Good general information but not into the details . A quick review more than learn the program.

A good quick read about Excel functions. I've been using excel since the late 1990s. I found the author's writing style to be confusing. If I did not have prior knowledge of Excel, I would have stopped reading the book in the first chapter. The author should have relied on an editor to help with sentence structure and flow.

I wish the book had more in depth information about building formulas and creating them

I liked the layout and examples. However, sample templates would have been more effective in practicing the skills and functions being taught. It is harder to generate data set to practice the material

Great to have onhand when you need a quick refresh. Easy to reference the function you need quickly.

This is not an advanced Excel book. This is basic to intermediate. The QR code at the back of the book doesn’t work and gives a 404 code

It is a good book to settle everything about excel from the basics to the most advanced without skimming any detail because everything was perfectly clear and if I had a doubt the book clarifies it, so it is a guide with which you can work perfectly, I liked the part of data validation (I barely knew) and pivot tables because they are fundamental. I also really liked the last 2 chapters that talks about high salary jobs after learning advanced excel and essential excel skills employers look for, which I considered very useful to have advantages in interviews and better job opportunities.

An accountant, administrator or manager must have excel skills because with Excel we can create data tables and automate them with functions to perform the calculations we need, apply formatting, visualize data in graphical form, create dynamic tables and graphs and more. I am here leaving my review because thanks to this guide I have acquired a remote job. My employer was impressed with my excel skills because there are so many more things we can do with this tool. I’m truly grateful to have found this guide and encourage anyone reading this review to check it out.

I recommend this book because when you get the hang of using pivot tables, you will see how the information you generate with them will have a huge positive impact on decision making and time saving, both for you and for your organization (if you use Excel for a company). I am from the UK and I applied for a job in Italy and I got it and the salary is really good. This book is very well explained with the ideal content to boost your skills and get a better job.

I recently moved to Italy due to my temporary job in a small finance company and I needed to update my knowledge in the use of the Excel program. I was able to quickly understand the explanations that the author offers about how excel works and the different uses that the program has. And I liked learning how to organize the data thanks to the step by step that the author explains about the classification of the rows and columns that I want. I totally recommend it.
