I love these. They have a sugary frosted taste, can’t compare it to any other cereal. A lot of people have complained about the limited portion sizes in each box. What I’ve found is that although 40g (my serving I have) doesn’t look a lot they are really filling due to the high protein. Other cereals have empty calories so you feel hungry afterwards. The little hoops stay crunchy all the way through with milk. I’d imagine maybe if they sat for ages might get soggy but eating them straight away it’s crunch all the way. They have a very strong sweet smell. I’ve eaten these dry as a snack also. I’ve tested my blood sugars after a bowl of these with no sugar almond milk 2 hours later and my sugars do not go up. Yea they can seem pricey compared to some cereals but if you buy others and have huge servings it’s not that far off. The only cereals that are okay for diabetics really is Weetabix or Shredded Wheat so these make a nice change. I’ve also bought the chocolate ones which are lovely too. I didn’t like the cinnamon at all. Just not my thing for a cereal and I’ve yet to brave the peanut butter. For me, these are worth it as I get taste, crunch, healthy breakfast and a small portion is surprisingly filling. I have these on repeat order now.

I have bought Surreal before and it used to be genuinely excellent. Great taste, good texture, easy way to add protein. Easily a 9 or 10 out of 10. This version is a completely different product. The taste is poor, the texture is wrong, and it is honestly unpleasant to eat. I would rate it 3 out of 10 at best. I noticed other reviews mentioning a recipe change and a drop in quality, which is why I only ordered the minimum four box pack. I am glad I did, because I will not be eating them. There is no clear notice of a new recipe on the box or the Amazon listing, yet the difference is huge. Changing a product this much without being transparent is frustrating, especially when you can only buy multiple boxes at once. Very poor again when you take into consideration the high cost of this product. I would not have bought this if I knew how different it was. Very disappointing.

Nice and tasty! Price is quite steep, well under 15 quid last week and now almost £18, I think i'll look elsewhere now.

Big fan of Surreal! This is one of my favourite flavours. I pair it with a full fat greek yogurt and fruit every morning, and it keeps me feeling fuelled and full until lunch time. It tastes great, too!

Good choice for type 2 diabetics

I like cereal but I'm trying to reduce my carbs and I thought this was worth a try. It does reduce carbs. I tried the frosted version, I thought the plain might be a bit bland. In hindsight I wish I tried the plain. The frosting leaves an unpleasant chemical after taste. I'll struggle what I have, as it's too expensive to throw away but very much doubt I'll buy it again.

Nicest of the range in my option. I have some of this cereal along with some protein porridge prior to weight training at the gym. Every little helps 💪

I don’t know what they did to this cereal but it’s rubbish compared to the previous recipe. They taste of nothing and they have the consistency of a crisp. Please go back to the old recipe or I am never buying these again. Such a shame. Avoid these if used to enjoy them.
