First Aid Fast for Babies and Children: Emergency Procedures for all Parents and Carers

This book is so well organized that, when my son woke up at 4am "barking" and struggling to breathe (which he had never done before) I just had to look at the index the back of the book, find the page for "croup" and read the very short and helpful indication. By the time the ambulance came I had already found some information to help him feel better. It was so helpful, I highly recommend it! you don't have to read a page worth of stuff to find out what you need to do s it could actually be used in an emergency and not only as an educational read.

I bought this book for my daughter as she is expecting her first baby. The book is simple to use and doesn't confuse you with too much information. It just gives clear instructions for a variety of problems. I'd recommend this as a quick reference quide. You don't have time to read a lot during an emergency and this gives the answers you need there and then.

Loads of useful info so I feel much more prepared for my first baby having this. Think I’ll just highlight emergency pages with postit notes. Has space for emergency contacts at the back. Great product and quick delivery.

Publication is worth every penny. Especially for first time parents and guardians of little ones (grandparent's, teenage siblings, etc). It was recommended to us by NHS nurse. Clear and professional content with tons of pictures and procedures explained step by step. It is really hard to oversell it.

I Recently Brought this product for my son who has joined st john ambulance cadets and has a test in 6 weeks time and he wanted this to help revise over the recovery position, CPR, Burns, fractures And So On. St. John Ambulance Cadets Are Great And Provide First Aid At Local Events If Your Aged Between 10-17 why not join?

An older version of this book used to be one of my favorite childhood books due to the clear and understandable illustrations. I was totally fascinated by them then, and am thrilled to find a version for kindle all these years later. Even if you already have a first-aid book, this book is worth buying as a communication tool. It really help to reassure a child when you can show them what you’re going to do to help them feel better.

In my opinion, a very good book with graphic examples and simple explanations. Although this book is the 5th edition from 2017, the photographs are definitely still from the 90s – it has its charm. The explanations and instructions given are clear, concise, and accompanied by photos. I wish I’d had a resource like this when my kids were little; I’m buying another copy for my daughter who now has two little ones of her own.
