Love it! Works exactly how it should.
We got this lava lamp to replace the rocket shaped lamp by Blob lava lamps—which refused to work. The Blob lamp is a faulty product for sure because this lava lamp by LAVA worked straight away (after a very reasonable warm-up time). Once it gets going, it's awesome to watch and my little kid absolutely loves it. We've had it on about 8 times for 6+ hours each time and the bulb is fine so far. Highly recommended and a fantastic price (we paid £20).

Bearded dragon loves it!
Received quickly and in good condition. Absolutely love this lamp. Been looking for a glitter one and this is perfect. Also my bearded dragon enjoys watching it of an evening. He also recommends for other humans and dragons- although he’s not saying it would not be suitable for other lizards.

Doesnt last
cable broke after only a few months of use, not been moved or wobbled around at all and just stopped working

think bulb may have been a little faulty as blew during warm up time, easy and cheap to replace though so not the end of the world

Nostalgia overload
Ignore the other reviews; a simple google reveals that lava lamps take up to 3 hours to “work”. As you use it more frequently this time will slowly decrease. I’m really happy with this lava lamp. The nostalgia is amazing. I had one as a little girl. First photo is when I had just turned it on, second is after around 3 hours.

Bulb gone after 2 days
The lamp was pretty while it lasted. After just 2 days the bulb has blown. I don’t like the fact that the lamp is in three sections which don't screw together, they just perch one on top of the other. It takes about 4 hours for the wax to melt. I will try a different bulb and hope that it lasts longer.

Plugged it in and it stopped working

no defects and easy to install

Came with a European power plug and it couldn't be used until an adapter was purchased. The sections are not connected so consequently they are easily knocked over.
