Great product to allow remote access to security camera
I have security cameras which don’t allow access to recordings without a subscription. With this I can use Tailscale or ZeroTier to access my home network.Fantastic solution without the complication of setting up a VPN, especially if you don’t have a public up address. This solved my problems overnight with only 5 mins to set up once connected to my router and added devices to access home network remotely.I would have preferred the plastic case which was cheaper but not available on Amazon. But the peace of mind being able to return was worth it.

FINALLY!! A device that works..., for me.
The media could not be loaded. I have tried a RPI (tricky & unreliable), Asus AC-88U (slow, max 44 MB/s OVPN only) for my VPN.Stumbled upon this and thought I would give it a try. Perfect for me. Connection via Ethernet from my SKY modem/router, enabled VPN client on device (Mullvad), any that supports Wireguard or OVPN (will be slower though) will do and connected to my ASUS router via Ethernet & Bob's your uncle, it works.Speeds from 250 MB/s (using the Asus as theWiFi router) via WiFi up to 450 MB/s via Ethernet. I only have a 500 MB/s line.I am over the moon with this device as it delivers all I need for my house needs. If you are looking for an easy to use and reliable & fast gateway VPN device, this is it.

Great for price but didnt do what i wanted it to do
Great mini router, user-friendly interface, had issues with the VPN set up, doesn't allow you to load an encrypted VPN token but was fine with off the shelf VPN click/drag

VPN Router
Easy to setup and seems to work without any problems at all so far. Great VPN tool especially when paired with Beryl AX.

Great easy to setup VPN
Great product, I now have a VPN setup so all my devices can connect from anywhere in the world. Great customer service from Bernard at GL.iNET when I emailed them for some clarification. Top stuff!!

Connect to home server from outside world
Rather than use it as a client to get VPN internet, I used it the other way round - to get to my HOME LAN from the outside word. Worked a treat and Wireguard is super easy and fast - no messing with OpenVPN keys and its super slow transfer. If you've tried to set up wireguard app yourself and ended up with isolated subnets, then this is easier to set up.I added this AFTER my router, rather than before it, since I am happy to let my main router continue to handle DNS, Digital voice, All I wanted was the VPN and I can hang it off any switch on the LAN.The device is quite heavy for a small unit - all that ARM processor goodness inside! The device allowed me to switch on Wiregaurd on my mobile app and connect to my home LAN (and whatever sits on the LAN) from outside my home. is all accessible. You configure the unit by plugging your laptop to its LAN port only. Configure it, then Place its WAN port to your router or switch, that is if you don't want to use it as a full router, I mean. I couldn't be bothered using the LAN to log into its 192.168.8.1 subnet, so I just chose its option of allowing the admin to be accessible from its "WAN" side on port 80 (which is connected to my LAN, not the outside world). Thus I have 1 cable from its WAN to an internal switch and nothing on the LAN side and it becomes another 192.168.1.n device on my home network. When I connect to it via VPN, I see all devices on my LAN too.HOWEVER... after 1 year, the device just stopped working. I tried the factory reset: no good. I tried the UBrick reboot method to load original firmware, but it was totally dead. Would have been easier just to create a docker VM on my server.
