what is the expiry date ?

What is expiry date of this product please

From what I remember, as it was confusing at the time, the date of manufacturing and expiry are together on the side of the plastic container drum. What is confusing is that they have the dates, and of course the expiry date, in the US format! This I’ve always thought is crazy system really, you have to reverse the first and second numbers to get the month! Make sense? There is also the expiry date from having opened the drum, as the air oxidises the reagents on the sticks, you have to always make sure the lid it’s screwed tight as oxygen and water accelerate the opening expiry date, though the guide lines will have a safe margin of error. Hope that helps.

Can these be used for children and adults?

Yes. But beware, the date on the label for manufacture and expiry is in the American format. Month, day, year.

The product arrived this morning. Why is my batch going out of date in 5 months? I’m not happy, a year would be just acceptable, but 5 months!

I have checked with ALLTEST. The expiry date is the 5th December 2019. Please note, once opened the strips have a shelf life of 3 months.
