Purchased this item because my stick antenna would hit my garage door every time I parked. It receives radio stations well and I'd recommend.

looks cool but will not pick any radio stations like an antenna will.
I got this mainly so I didn't have to take my antenna off every time I go through the automatic car wash, which is pretty often. I was as advertised when it comes to looks and ease of installation...no problems at all. but it is not an antenna. When it is on, I cannot pick up a single station. Fortunately I don't listen to radio much so it isn't a big deal, but if you do, I would steer clear of this one.
