Overall this is a great sturdy item and with certain exceptions, it is relatively easy to assemble. Nonetheless there are two issues with this item. First the shoulder rest is awkward and really do not fit my shoulder well. It makes holding my camera difficult and uncomfortable since I cannot get the should rest to fit me correctly. The other issue are the instructions. Instructions I received did not include focus ring and left me scrambling for information on how to attach. My advice for the price it is worth it but do not expect it to meet all of your expectations.

This is an amazing piece of kit that i will recommend to all amateur videographers, this will stabilise your ability to collect images, and will encourage your creativity. The interchangeability of all aluminium roods, grips and Matt Box and the ability of natural upgradability of this kit as your demands increases, makes it ideal based on price, construction and ease of assemble, this is a must. After spending some valuable time adjusting the rig, i now fell comfortable and confident in videoing on the move wit full control on my Follow Focus and stability offered by my Shoulder Rig with my Canon 600D, this combination will make a big difference for my images. I will also recommend the acquisition of a good quality Viewfinder magnifier unit. The quality of this equipment is excellent, and i want to leave here my sincere thanks to the developers of tools that make a difference, even to amateurs like me. To the seller i will leave my recommendations for the prompt service and quality of packaging.

All the components in the box were just as described on the product's page. No manual (but I wasn't expecting one after reading other reviews). So far so good(well, not good, but not bad, at least!). The unpleasant surprise was to find out that the white plastic ring on my follow focus has a huge crack on it. It doesn't affect the way follow focus works, but it is ugly.It looks awful. So much about verifying the products prior shipping... The ring that I suppose to attach on the lens is really hard to use, if the focus ring on the lens is not wide enough. It was impossible to do it on my canon 1.8 50mm lens and is not stable on my Tokina 2.8 11-16(which has quite a wide focus ring). Another big minus. It is hard to keep all the mechanism together for more than 15 minutes. As Damon said earlier, "The clamps which tighten parts together are annoying and get in the way and tend to loosen easily". Very easily. The one that it should keep in place the rod that goes to the shoulder is almost useless. As others said, it is nearly impossible to use it on the shoulder without an extra weight. It just has no stability. On the plus side: it looks quite good, the handles are sturdy and it has a C handle. And, of course, the price. Overall: 3 stars out of 5. The main reason for the low score is the lack of quality check before shipping (in spite of being advertised) and the poor quality of the clams. I modified my original review, increasing the number of stars from 2 to 3 just because after my review eimo decided to send me a compensation: two free lens ring belts. It is not much, but it is something! I told them that I am considering increasing the rating to 4 stars if the publish their contact data on the product page or on their frontstore, but they didn't do it (yet). Edited: Now it is possible to contact them on Amazon, so I'm giving this product an extra star: 4 out of 5. It is not a 4 star product, but the price is so low that I'm feeling generous... Conclusion: you get what you pay. It is not a perfect product, but it helps you improve your videos and is quite cheap.

The not great first. The focus connection isn't brilliant, is a little jumpy and sometimes slips. The good, the mount is brilliantly stable and makes catch those shots on a prime lens that would normally be a little too shaky to use perfect.

Returned it as I'm a bit old for playing with toys. It is very cheaply made and will not give off professional air to potential clients. if using for a hobbie it keeps it on your shoulder but follow focus is not great. I returned this tiem

Inexpensive to buy, cheap build quality. The rig COULD be great value, but some of the materials used are a very poor choice because the LAST thing you want with a rig is for things to move about, and unfortunately, you have to tighten things with every ounce of your strength, and still things move about... There should be GRIP when you tighten things, you should not need to apply so much force that you fear breaking the rig or stripping the screws. This is a very basic and very big mistake... so what could be a five star unit is USELESS in my opinion, therefore it should get one star, but gets two because it has potential, despite being a waste of time.

I had been looking for a video rig for some time but was undecided between price and quality. This rig had all I needed although the price made me a little nervous. I need not have worried, this rig is well made, the materials are top quality, although some are not quite to pro standard, but are well capable of getting the job done. Don't be put off by the price, this is fantastic value and on reflection I can't see how eimo have achieved this price, even for a non pro rig. There are a few niggles, as other reviews have stated the screws can get in the way on occasion, the top bar, I may change for the eimo pro version later on, but once set up and adjusted is remarkably comfortable and easy to use. Well pleased and would recommend this rig.

Very easy to adjust and put together. Great build very sturdy and does not feel cheap or flimsy. It makes a huge difference with stabilizing your video shoot. Gives you more command when shooting as opposed to holding camera separately.

Je craignais le pire, un joujou en plastique peu fiable mais non. C'est plutôt de bonne facture, ça me parait pouvoir tenir le coup. Bon, bien sur il y a pas mal d'éléments en plastique qui vont s'user à force, mais pour une utilisation moyennement intensive, avec un bon rangement à l'abri des coups et de la poussière, je pense que cela doit tenir qq années. De plus le système est complet, rien à dire la dessus. A mon goût il manque un simple système de contre poids sur l'arrière de l'épaule pour que cela soit parfait. Et puis aussi un follow focus déporté...parce que là, tenir la cam + faire le suivi...forcément il y a qqchose que vous ferez bcp moins bien.

I've had this rig for over a year and it still holds up great. Used it for a bunch of different types of film shoots. Gives you a good balance for a more steady shot. Could do without the barn doors or focus wheel but thats just my opinon. Overall this a great inexpensive option for beginner's who aren't ready to shell out for an expensive 3 gimbal stablizer.

Bueno aún no lo he probado a fondo pero parece resistente y cumple muy bien con su funcionalidad un 10 por localidad precio. Le bajo una estrella porque es algo engorroso el encaje con el objetivo si tienes que estar cambiando de objetivo.

Awesome rig for the price make sure you get the one with the top handle only thing I wish it had was a hot shoe
