An Excellent and super simple pattern!
These directions are so incredibly simple - the pattern is VERY straightforward! So easy to stitch up with little effort, and minimal hemming (and no bias trim req'd). I'm starting mine tonight and excited because I've needed an apron for a LONG time, and wanted something fun. Plus regular aprons aren't comfortable - I'm 6' tall, and the neck straps on a reg. apron always have the apron too high, the length is never long enough... etc. Good value for the price point, I'm sure I'll be making these for quite a few folks! :)

Cute pattern
Cute pattern. Was able to finish in an afternoon. I did make some changes - I sewed bottom hems together before turning right side out when joining the two fabrics (left a small area open in side seam that a topstitched close during that step). I also cut out 8 pockets so that I could line the pockets with fabric - didn’t want to put my hand against interfacing in the pocket. Instructions are well written and easy to follow if you have intermediate sewing skills. There are also instructional YouTube videos you can watch.

Simple But Lots Of Top Stitching
I made this using a lightweight denim and lightweight chambray for the lining. I don't want a reversible apron, and I like the easy style. However, it's time consuming getting all the top stitching in there! I used one reviewer's advice and turned it inside out using the side of the apron rather than the bottom hem. Worked like a charm.

Easy Pattern
This is an apron pattern designed by Mary Mulari, who was a frequent guest on the "Sewing With Nancy" PBS TV show. Just in case you've been "wracking your brain" as I was, trying to remember where you've seen her before. I've made this pattern as both a reversible apron and as two one-sided aprons. Before cutting out the pattern, I cut out the instructions that are printed beside the pattern itself and taped them to the front of the pattern. I was careful not to cover up any pattern markings. This ensured that the instructions were always in front of me and not lying under a pile of scraps on the cutting table. For size 3x, I moved the pattern in from the edge of the folded fabric 1 1/2". This added 3" to the front of the apron. I cut the Crisscross Apron Bands 18". Hopefully, if you also wear a larger size than what is indicated on the pattern, this will help you while adjusting the pattern to fit your size. Instead of ironing on stabilizers to the pockets, I cut lining from fun fabrics in my scraps "pile". I folded the top of the pocket down 1 1/2 inches to give a pop of contrasting color. If you have and know how to use a hemming foot, this is a great tool to use for this project. I used my #6 hemming foot to finish off the one-sided aprons. (Any size will do, but the #6 is the largest one I own.) Be sure to finish off the seams for attaching the bands and make sure you have a full bobbin. If you start at the bottom on one side, you will hem all the way around and end up at the bottom on the other side. It doesn't look like that will work, but it does. I hope this helps. Enjoy, and happy sewing!

Loved this pattetn!
Excellent pattern. Actually has instructions to make 2 different sizes, and instructions on making custom fit with the straps. I loved "no ties"!

easy to follow, cute, holiday gifts
easy to follow pattern. Lots of fun to make. I'll be making several for holiday gifts this year. Easy to make bigger if needed.

Not enough yardage
I’m giving this a 5 star so people will read this review. The overall pattern is good, but be aware that most of the fabric I have purchased lately is not 45 inches wide. I did not have enough fabric to make the straps and had to use a third fabric out of my scrapes. Buy enough so that you can cut the straps out below the apron piece. Then you will also be able to adjust the size of the apron to smaller or larger.
