BA121316 Replaceable Knife Blades for S802 Phantom, S502U Phantasy and S501U KS Scissor

This is a must have kit for your Roxon! It’s not for the Flex, but works on the Shears and the pocket knife( I forget what that’s called) The claw style works well for custom cuts, used it to bend corrugated liner for my Pelican case. The serrated blade is pretty strong, and I like the other one too! Turns your 1 knife into 4 pocket knives just make sure it works on your Roxon… with all their stuff it can get very confusing… this blade uses the circle opening not the little hook opening that the Flex uses for all those weird parts and such.

Very utilitarian and useful! 5 sharp out of the box, fits perfectly, no issues. Packaged excellent. Will buy other varieties and knife combos for my multi tool as well knowing the quality and result of this order.

For the cost, these are a good set of replacements for the Phantom's (or Phantasy's) blade that comes standard with the tool. These are my impressions after a quick gentle use. 1. Roxon should have used better blade steel for the saw and seat belt cutter. 8CR at minimum but a tool grade steel may have been a good option too. 2. The belt cutter tool has no markings as shown in the listing pics; also, I had to sharpen the cutting edge. No way I was trusting it in a life/death scenario as it arrived. I docked a star for each of these as I feel Roxon should make their products ready to go out of box. In their defense, the tanto blade is wicked sharp upon arrival! 3. The saw blade is a bit redundant as the tool already comes with one BUT this one is by far sharper and feels more capable than the one on the non-replaceable one on the tool. I'd have preferred either something like a pry tool as the non-removeable item and kept the file as the replaceable item or (and more sensible I think) a non-replaceable file with a replaceable pry/chisel tool. This would likely make the Phantom TSA friendly as well! 4. I've seem some reviews stating the standard tanto blade doesn't fit into the replaceable blade sheaths. As you can se in the images, it does, in fact fit. Perhaps this was the case with the blade from the original S802 as I have the S802S. 5.Roxon did a great job with the included sheaths! They are kept together with magnets for easy carry and storage, you could add a keyring to each if you chose to and each sheath is locking! I added a point back for this. Overall, this is a really good set of replacements for the tanto blade. I only wish Roxon would be so redundant in the tool set but I do look forward to trying out more of their replacement sets.

This system is fantastic. The blades come extremely sharp and easy to exchange. Because of the way they are cut, the thumb hole edge is also a nearly perfect 90° and, also - very sharp. Taking 2 minutes to knock the edge down fixes it. 9.9/10.

This is a good lower cost alternative to some of the higher priced items in this category.

I bought the KS Knife Scissors tool and this set of blades because I was really after the utility knife function. The tool itself is impressive in that it is larger than what I expected, and the scissors work exceptionally well - just what I was looking for. A few have commented that no other blades will fit the utility knife attachment, however I tried the blades that came with it and also tried some "no name" blades I got at Lowe's or Home Depot and they also work fine. All in all, this is a really nice tool and the replaceable blades make it doubly more so.

Blades manufactured my “Toughbuilt” work fine with the utility knife. I used the proprietary blades that they make for their utility knife/scraper tool. Currently you can get 30 or 50 for about six bucks on sale on Amazon. Now that I’ve said that, it’s a shame that you can’t fit any blade into this attachment. To be honest, I would be willing to bet that this set is the top seller in all of the blade sets because a utility knife . In my opinion, a utility knife is so much more useful than any other knife in most cases. No other company seems to have a multitool of this caliber with an option for a utility knife. As for the “play and wobble”. I have more top brand utility knives than I can count. All of them move more than this attachment and it’s probably for a good reason. It’s probably because they don’t have tight tolerances so they can fit any blade on the market, and they work just fine. Out of what I had in the house, Milwaukee blades fit, but to my surprise, when I flipped the blade around, it no longer fit. I’m guessing it because of the mass production process. Fine for regular knives but not good for something like this that probably needs more precision during the blade making process. That’s why the blades that I suggest probably work better because, in order to fit their specialty knife, the cut out in the middle needs to be in the right place. In conclusion, the other blades are of fine quality. I use a utility knife every day and change blades often. It’s a shame that I won’t be able to use this attachment as an edc, but for casual use only. This really needs to be worked on, I’ve always thought multi tools are more of an emergency/if you don’t have anything else kind of thing. This could have been a game changer for me. I’m not saying not to buy this set. Just be ready to buy your on blades and not be able to pretty much anyone else’s, unless you get lucky and one fits. But there’s a chance that when you flip it over it won’t fit, which is a waste.
