Feels flimsy not sure it would hold. Its a small tension rod. I feel like it should be used for light curtains or something. This is why I gave it 2 stars.

One of these rods won’t stay extended. One works so I guess ya get what ya pay for or half of what you pay for.

I figured I could use these for something else, not thick or long enough for my back sliding door.

Toothpicks, not long enough or strong enough to secure a hamsters cage. Move on, nothing to buy here

These should be made of either a more dense polymer or an alloy. They also need to be thicker. They work to a certain degree - they do stop casual window opening and I tried testing one with a bit of strength but I didn't want to push too hard in case it broke because it seemed like it might. The one I was testing has a damaged spring now because of the force (which wasn't even about half my strength) and now it doesn't twist smoothly when retracting/extending.

I have purchased 2 pairs but I am bit doubtful and not fully satisfied as when extended they are too weak and not sure if they are fit for purposeupdate : total garbage and about to return it...
