Good Sd card reader
I like this multiple functional SD card reader. It's 5 in 1,it's small,it doesn't take up much space and it can be used for phones, laptops or tablets.I've tried to transfer photos and I can say that it transferred them quickly. So far I had no problems using this usb.For the price,I think it's worth it

Great SC Card reader
I absolutely adore this card reader USB adaptor, small and concise it can read both micro SD Cards directly but also in a SD card adaptor. Plug and Play, this will give immediate access to SD Card information via USB and what I love most is that it really just a dongle you plug in, no long cable for a box, it strips away the faff to a very easy to carry, easy to use USB Adaptor. Build quality is superb, it looks great as well...just a perfect thing to have in case you need it instead of wishing you had one and don't.

Good price for a portable multi-USB plugs card reader
This OTG adapter is handy because of its small form factor and multi-USB port compatibility.Because it is USB 2.0, the speed transfer is limited by its controller. It will take longer to transfer files if you have a high-speed SD card.Overall, it is a must-have item to have around your workplace.

Fairly basic, but all I needed.
This is a fairly basic card reader, just a "2 in 1", although it does cover the most widely used cards. Alternatives which cover a wider variety of cards are also available in the same range. It is a nice, compact item, connecting directly to my PC or laptop via USB, without any trailing cables. It is therefore extremely portable, and takes up very little room in my laptop bag.It has all that I required, but should I require more, I would have no hesitation in choosing another from this range. The price is another plus point.

A bit flimsy
The media could not be loaded. A bit flimsy but works well enough to get the pictures off of my wildlife camera from the SD card. It’s mostly made of plastic so is lightweight. It does sound a bit hollow. But I like that you’ve got the option of either using a USB or a USBC.

what a useful device - it can read my camera's SD cards with photos direct to phones and laptops
AIYEEN SD Card Reader,I am surprised by the negative comments about this device - my experience has been very positive as it is inexpensive and delivers function that I wouldn't otherwise have - including on the go access from SD cards into my smartphone. This is a great device for a photographer - my experience is:✅ it can plug into my laptop - via USB-A✅ it can plug into my tablet - via USB-c✅ it can plug into my android phone - via micro USB✅ I can take the SD card from my camera and upload photos and video direct to all these devices - in each occasion the SD card is shown as an external drive and uploading is not a problem. This means that my photos can be uploaded from my camera in the middle of a trip - then edited on my favourite Apps such as Snapseed, resized and atached to an email or SMS and sent on in a moment. This gives connectivity to my large system camera that was otherwise restricted to my phone camera or had to wait until I could sit down with a laptop open - and then send the images on over a wifi connection. For a keen photographer - this added functionality is what makes this a great buy imo.✅ transfer speeds were quick - and I had no dropouts (no lost photos or videoclips)✅ it is lightweight and tiny - and can easily live in my camera bag👎🏻 it is lightweight and tiny - and can easily get lost or crushed! I will be back to update this review if the device fails in the next 2 years. It seems that some reviewers here have had problems using this - but not me - and I use both apple and android devices.♥️ CONCLUSION: I like this - it worked first time. I would certainly get this again.

Poor quality, slow speeds (when working), and incorrect writing
Printing on the front of my unit says "USB Type-C/OTG Card ReadenWrlter". Not sure what a "ReadenWrlter" is...Tested this using high speed SD cards vs a 7 or 8 year old Sabrent equivalent. Much slower (using same card, same file transfers, etc) than the Sabrent (20% slower). The USB-C connection is bent towards one of the longer sides, which reflects on the poor build quality of this unit. The USB transfers at 2.0 speeds, so very old tech, but that's clearly stated in the desription so no problem. This did not allow me to connect my phone (USB-C) to my PC (USB-A). It just didn't recognise anything. I was not able to connect any of my other devices either, only the TF and SD worked. These alphabet soup 'brands' are not helping anyone. The tech rarely works, and this is another example of this. While the price appears low (£7), this is false economy, because if it's not fit for purpose then it's money down the drain.Even if this is a 'one off', one of the reasons the price can be 'low' is because there is little or no Quality Control. That's not good for electronic items. While the packaging contains a CE marking, the item itself doesn't. By the way, CE marking can be an internal 'accreditation' i.e. anyone can produce an item and mark it 'CE' with no investigation or proof. Only if challenged, is the proof required. I worry sometimes about this, and I really don't understand how some of these items are allowed into the Marketplace.EDIT: I did manage to get this to work with some older devices I had lying around, but only via the USB-Micro connection. Consistent write speed was 10 MB/sec. So it does work, but not with everything. Added 2* but in reality it's probably somewhere between 2* and 3*

A budget memory card reader that is OK for occasional use
If your device has a USB-A port but no card reader then this budget adapter by AIYEEN offers an inexpensive solution for transferring data from your SD and micro-SD memory cards. This is a very simple device that is plug-and-play – just put the memory card in the adapter and plug the USB plug into a USB socket. It works OK – not the fastest data transfer rates in the world, but good enough for the price – currently around six quid from Amazon. If you just need an adapter for occasional use then this model is good enough – for regular use probably better to get something of higher quality – four stars at the price.
