Reasonably comfortable, great fit
These are a comfortable, well made pair of safety boots that are surprisingly light, given that they are steel toe capped. The tongue is attached to the boot so it gives a modicum of water resistance through that area.The soles are both slip resistant and oil/acid resistant which is ideal when you are on site and happen upon any of those items. They also say they are Antistatic shock absorber, but I am certainly not going to go looking for a shock so I will take their word for it (shocking I know).I am a size 9 and these in a 9 fit me perfectly. I guess if you wanted to put thick socks on or a different insole then you might want to go up a size.The colouring of the box is very vibrant and eye catching, emblazoned with the "Black Hammer" logo. You also get a very interesting user information sheet, giving you a wealth of information on the boot, and how it handles various substances etc (I have included a pic of part of that sheet)Overall these are an excellent boot, quite comfortable, and at a great price.
