Perfect colour match
We recently painted our hallway and one double socket had damage to the rear of it so when the socket was fitted, it showed holes behind.Ordered this faceplate and slipped it over the socket, removed from the wall to do so, wires still connected and hey presto, no more visible damage and is an exact colour match to our grey walls.BTW, one side looks scratched/not perfect but this is the rear of the faceplate, the front face has a plastic film on it which when removed, shows a perfect finish. I add this as I saw some buyers saying the socket was a poor finish which it isn't. I knew about the protective film and it even says it in the instructions provided but still, some don't get it.

Does the job.
Good service from the seller but a little disappointed with the product if I'm honest. In the past when I've bought similar items for single switches they been sculpted so the switch socket sits into a recessed part of the plastic. These one's appeared to be stamped plastic which the socket sits on top of. It looks good to be fair and for the price is pretty good value. It does the job well hence the 4 stars.

Good for perfectly flat walls
Not a bad colour, accurately cut and neatly finished, but 3mm is quite thick, indeed probably too thick for this kind of product: they are very rigid and so are not really suitable for a wall that is anything other than perfectly flat, which is rarely the case around switches and sockets. These would be better if half the thickness and slightly recessed where the switch or socket should go.
