Timberland Women's 6" Premium Waterproof Boots

I typically wear a size 6 M in shoes and when I initially ordered these boots, I ordered the 6 m. A lot of the reviews were conflicting in terms of going down a size or just ordering the size I normally am. The boot was too large and I don't mean just a bit of extra wiggle room... LARGE, I do know that with leather/suede that you do go through a 'break in' period and there was no way that the 6 was going to work. Returned, Ordered a whole size smaller, the 5 m, and yes, snug but definitely a better fit, They were even slightly difficult to put on the first few times and I would wear them around the house or do small errands in them to help with the breaking in before really taking them out. Also wore 2 thin pairs of socks so I would not blister and thought it might help the process. I feel like it did and I would recommend this technique. Now, the boots fit perfectly fine after about 24hrs collectively of stretching them out,,, they now fit to the shape of my foot and even went hiking with them. They stay pretty clean too because i had concerns about the light colored suede. Have not jumped in mud or anything but they have gotten dirt all over them which came off super easy with a soft tooth brush. They have also been exposed to rain and dried perfectly fine and I never pre-treated them in any way. These shoes are high quality, have great traction on the soles and are worth the money.

I normally wear a size 6.5M, but went 7W based on some of the reviews I saw here. With thick socks, I'm happy with the fit- comfortable, even when walking multiple blocks at time and climbing many flights of stairs. My feet didn't feel hot after all the activity. I purchased the nubuck/wheat color, which goes with any color combo, and don't ever go out of style (if you like Hip Hop anyway!). I still have a pair of Timberland World Hikers from the 90s, and they still look amazing, so I hope this particular style has the same longevity. I don't use them as work or hiking boots, but can say these boots are hard, but still very comfortable.

The first day that I wore them, my feet HURT LIKE HELL and I could barely tie the laces. However, after a week of wearing them they are now super COMFY to wear :) These are real Timberlands and are made of quality material and with craftsmanship. Comparing them with the knock offs I was wearing before I was surprised by how much richer the colour was - they really are a great looking shoe. Perfect for casual day-to-day or going for a hike! I am Asian and have slightly wider and smaller feet, so while they are snug around the width of my foot there is a bit of room at the toe. Overall the fit doesn't bother me. My new everyday boots!

I bought these last minute since they were the cheapest pair of Timbs that were good for hiking in the woods. Random strangers compliment them and my ego boosts up like maybe a millimeter or 2. I wear these everywhere but work, since I work in an office setting.

Ho acquistato questo classico Timberland (ovviamente giallo) il mese scorso. Arrivato puntualissimo e nella scatola originale, è perfetto: rifinito con cura e con materiali di ottima qualità. Attenzione al numero: lo scarpone è molto capiente e potrebbe risultare troppo largo per chi ha il piede magro. Ad esempio: io che oscillo tra il 41.5 e il 42, ma ho un piede magro, ho trovato il 42 giusto in lunghezza ma troppo largo, ci navigo dentro! Nulla che non si possa risolvere con un calzino pesante e stringendo bene i lacci (attenzione: i lacci si stringono limitatamente e più facilmente attorno alla caviglia, molto meno attorno al piede), ma il consiglio è quello di optare per il numero più piccolo se si è incerti tra due numeri o tra mezzi numeri. Altra cosa da considerare è il peso: lo scarpone si fa sentire chiaramente ad ogni passo perché molto più pesante rispetto alle solite scarpe (considerate che sono una grande fan delle converse quindi ci vuole poco a pesare di più...), ma poi la sensazione diminuisce man mano che si cammina. Infine i materiali risultano piuttosto rigidi all'inizio: non preoccupatevi, si ammorbidiranno con il tempo. Appena arrivati non riuscivo ad allacciarli fino all'ultimo passante perché erano talmente rigidi da premermi dolorosamente sulla tibia. Ora, dopo circa un mese, si sono ammorbiditi, la pelle accompagna i movimenti della caviglia senza ostacolarla e riesco a chiuderli tranquillamente fino in cima. Quindi: malgrado la prima impressione possa scoraggiarvi e farvi valutare la restituzione, lasciate tempo agli scarponi di prendere confidenza con il vostro piede e non ve ne pentirete: ottimi contro la pioggia e la neve, imbattibili contro il freddo e bellissimi! 5 stelle perchè sono un ottimo prodotto acquistato, grazie ad Amazon, ad un prezzo imbattibile! Pro: il mio ragazzo ha acquistato lo stesso modello quasi dieci anni fa e li indossa ancora tutto l'inverno, la peluria che li riveste è sparita, ma sono rimasti caldissimi e soprattutto impermeabili. Indistruttibili!

La fameuse botte Timberland que tout le monde connaît est vraiment très jolie, la qualité est là et le style aussi. Elles sont un peu lourdes, mais cela est lié aux matériaux qui permettent une conservation de la chaussure pendant des années. J’ai dû rendre le pair car trop grand pour moi. Mais je cherchais à remplacer une ancienne paire qui m’accompagne toujours malgré les nombreuses années et les épreuves.

I bought a pair for my wife and if they're even half as good as the pair I have, they are worth it. I got my pair of Timberland's when I was 18 out of the Freeman's catalogue! I don't wear them every day, but certainly every winter I have worn them regularly. I have travelled the world in them, scaled mountains in them, been hiking, decorated the house in them, whatever. I have used them as a proper workhorse boot and have actually never owned another pair of boots in all that time! These have always stood up to the test of time. Only now is the sole slightly corroding. With a nubuck brush, they still come up pretty good, though the leather has obviously faded. The quality appears the same here, with thick leather and lots of stitching. They fit very well, just as expected and are very water-repellent. They are not waterproof, but it takes a lot to get your socks wet wearing these. I'm sure many of you are just buying these for fashion, as I was back in the day (I was rocking that Wu-Tang style!) but I just had to let you know that these are actually serious boots and will last you for ages. They are expensive, but you get what you pay for and over the course of twenty years, the £110 I spent on my pair doesn't seem so bad! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
