It works very well. It gives the results and performance offered. You just have to install it correctly. It revived my speaker

My Megaboom battery died after constant use. I was bummed. Then I heard about replacement battery's and ordered this up. I was able to open it up without breaking anything. (Remove silicon before pulling up the board) But after installing it I thought it might be the wrong battery until it was fully charged. Then it was back to my trusty Megladong speaker!

Was initially very excited to get my MegaBoom back up and running after the OEM battery finally died. Installation was incredibly easy and there are plenty of videos on YouTube. However, this battery only lasted for 2 full charge cycles and then failed. It will no longer take a charge. I would look elsewhere for a replacement.

After a year or so my UE Megaboom was a disaster (strange noises, dropped connections, etc.), even when plugged in. Replacing the battery with this one fixed it right up (surprised me, since I assumed it was the board). I followed YouTube instructions to replace battery. I have a second Megaboom that works great but no longer holds a charge more than 30 minutes. I am buying another of these batteries with high hopes.

Although the product is charged with the hours that the manufacturer mentions. It reaches 100% and when disconnected it automatically drops to 80%.

This battery fit perfectly and was pretty easy to swap out after looking up on Youtube. You definitely want to plug the battery into the motherboard prior to installing in the speaker. It makes installation easier. So far the battery has been pretty good. I charged it up after installation and have listened a total of 7 hours over 3 days, and it is still going. After reading some of the 1 star reviews, I was worried it wouldn't last very long but am pleasantly surprised.

I have had this battery installed in my Megaboom for about a month now. It is performing just fine. I check the battery level often to make sure there is no unexpected drop in charge. So far, it is holding the charge as it should. I use it almost every day, especially Monday through Friday while I am making breakfast and getting ready for work. I haven't performed any scientific tests, but I would say that it probably uses about 10% charge per week. I don't blast at top volume. I watch some Youtube videos and listen to praise and worship music on low volume. I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised that this battery is holding up!

I bought 2 of these batteries as replacements for a friend and I’s megabooms and they are both faulty. My friend has another megaboom with a good battery that he replaced not long ago so I swapped the batteries from speaker to speaker to make sure it wasn’t my installation error. And sure enough his good battery worked in both of our speakers.
