average sound quality, but it's exceptionally cheap
This was bought just to give some basic sound to a thin client that didn't have a beeper in it so I just wanted the cheapest and smallest device. I wasn't too worried about sound quality. Tested it on Windows and it worked out of the box without drivers and the sound quality wasn't actually that bad. It's not hi-fi, but it's acceptable enough for background music etc. Moved it onto the machine it was destined for and it was working in a few minutes under Ubuntu Server 20.04 with a standard ALSA install, again, no drivers needed. Happy with my purchase and would recommend this if you need a simple and cheap sound device.

Does what it says.
Perfect solution. Inexpensive, quite well made and very small. Plug and play straight to my Mac and audacity to digitize a few analogue recordings. Worked precisely as described.

Perfect for raspberry pi
Works well with Raspberry Pi! The build quality is very good, and the metal makes it durable and resistant to scratches, even with hot glue none of the paint came off! When I plugged it into the raspberry pi, it immidiatley recognised it and worked, very easy to use! The sound quality is quite good, but I cannot test the speed as I do not have the equipment to do so! The usb port is usb 2.0 but still works well to an averge consumer perspective.

stopped working after just 2 months, flashes red and the sound that comes out is really muffled sounds robotic!

Great little oice if equipment.
What I liked about these USB soundcards is that they are literally "Plug & Play" No problem, no complicated setting to work out. Plug it in and it plays. Inobtrusive, doesn't stand out, just sits there and does exactly what it should. Great little piece of equipment. Defo gets 5 stars from me.

Makes my speakers quieter
So I bought this to plug in my speakers directly into the ps5 rather than into the controller and for the most part it worked perfectly. It’s very small a which I love and easy to use and connect. The only problem I had with it is that when I put the volume to max on the speakers, it was a lot quieter than usual which I found very odd. So, I plugged my speakers into the controller and the volume was how I was used to it being rather than it being quiet.
