My hobby is photographing all manner of species of the insect world. Sometimes I have to catch and keep specimens for identification later. These little containers are ideal for carrying in a pocket or rucksack, because they are virtually unbreakable, and when your out in the field that's a definite advantage. What's more they are much cheaper than proper specimen pots. Great for the beginner or professionals alike.

I too bought these for storing seed beads. They are perfect for the job, and are of a very high quality (good thickness to the plastic) so I feel these will last for a very long time without snapping or the lid thread chewing up. They are also perfectly clear, so you can see what is being stored inside. I'm thinking about getting some of the smaller sizes too.

Be careful because these containers are not clear plastic- they are opaque- you can see into them but they are not clear plastic. So they were no use for me as I needed them to be crystal clear

Good product as far as I can tell so far. Haven't really made much use of them yet, but they do seem fit for purpose.

Brilliant service, arrived a day earlier than anticipated. Needed as moth pots rather than my glass ones, (volunteer wildlife recorder for RSPB) great but slightly opaque which doesn't really show properly in picture but still using them.
