The Ugly Duckling (minedition Classic)

I bought this book specifically - to be a part of my great grandchild's 'forever' books.. When she is old enough to truly comprehend the messages it holds, her mother will read it to her and with her. This dear old tale is a teaching tool, as well as a story with a happy ending. The artwork is of high quality. So delighted to be the one to give this 'treasure' to her.

This book reminds me a lot of the style of The Velveteen Rabbit. It's very traditional in how it's been written. That makes it a bit of a challenging read, but it's still a wonderful, classic book. The accompanying pictures are beautiful.
