I definitely recommend this because there are so many options to customize it for how you want to use it. I tdr at a warehouse and my phone has fallen between the dock and the trailer so I got this to prevent that from happening and i Can already tell it was a good buy. The cord is sturdy; the entire piece does not give a cheap feel. Definitely worth the piece of mind.

The most annoying thing about this thing is, it works exactly like it should. So I can't leave my phone on a park bench. But I also can't leave it in the car to charge. But eventually it will break me of my park bench habit.The belt clip could be a little deeper. It doesn't quite snap over a wider belt. Otherwise, well designed and well made.

This kit provides an interesting method to add a connection loop to a cellphone, which keeps the phone from slipping out of one's hand, being dropped to the floor, and broken.The main attachment method is by a flat rectangle with a looped tab that protrudes through the power plug opening that is installed between the phone and the case. I was concerned about this attachment method because while the rectangle is fairly flat, any added thickness between the phone and the phone case could keep the phone from sitting fully and correctly inside the case. However, after looking through the items that come with this kit, I noticed something additional that I had not noticed in the listing. It is basically a strong but very thin loop attached to a plastic connector. The instructions show how this can alternately be used as the attachment point and it is so thin that it fits even better between the phone and the case, than would the rectangle, allowing my phone to sit well into the case with it installed, as was intended by the case provider.I use the items of this kit daily, changing between the wrist strap, for using the phone around the house without worrying about it slipping out of my hand, and the reel, which I use to ensure that the phone will not fall to the ground when I am outside exercising.All cell phones should come with this kit!I really like this kit and would definitely buy it again and recommend it to everyone!

4 stars for value. If the product material quality was higher, it would be 5.For the price, not a bad deal. There's a lot of these types of belt hooks + cords out there, but this one gets put above most of the rest due to the plethora of additional hook attachments that come with it.Details:Case is plastic. Cord feels like nylon. Retractable locking cord is nice, but I can already feel the locking mechanism starting to break after 2 days of use. Having tried a non-locking (only retractable) version, I'd be slightly biased towards the locking ones if they worked well for an extended period of time. Being able to keep the cord extended is very helpful when you're performed tasks that take more time.If you're looking specifically for that feature, I'd recommend a higher quality item, as I can easily imagine the mechanism breaking within a few weeks.Cheap metal belt hook will be fine for lighter tasks, but will definitely slide and/or fall off on slippery fabric when you try to extend the cord in upward directions or you accidentally overextended beyond the cord's range (which is hard to do - I just happen to have very long arms). Other similar items have built in carabiner belt hooks which solve this problem. Had to buy a cheap carabiner to attach to the belt hook in order to safely secure the device to a belt loop on work pants.

I’d like to keep my phone in my back pocket,. And this keeps me from dropping it.

Bought to use with phone while traveling to help prevent phone snatchers. I think the cable is enough of deterrent to make them choose an easier target
