Bought this set to drill out a hardened steel peg jammed into a harder rod. I had 4 of these pegs to drill out. These bits performed flawlessly for the first two pegs, but on the 3rd, I had unfortunately angled the drill slightly resulting in the bit snapping. Notified the manufacturer Stroton of the broken bit and they promptly replaced it! Excellent set of carbide bits and great customer service.

Just said a drill bits were exactly what I was looking for, and they were extremely sharp and holding up very well so far

The drill bits seem to be good quality. I did snap one of the smaller bits which occasionally happens with any manufacturer’s bits. I followed the enclosed process for requesting a free replacement and promptly received an entire new set of 13 bits because they did not have the individual size bit that I broke. Highly recommend Stroton.

Good quality for the price

They wouldn’t drill my stainless exhaust on my motorcycle but I was using a Hand drill on a curved surface. Tried a small bit and then a larger one but they wouldn’t even scratch it. I tried center punching but my punch wouldn’t touch it. I gave up on drilling a hole. I was going to put a sheet metal screw through the bottom of the slip on muffler just to make sure it wouldn’t come off. It is a custom setup is why I needed to do that because the exhaust doesn’t fit the standard setup. I think they would work ok in a drill press on flat sheet stainless. They are made in China and had pretty decent reviews is why I bought them.

Works like it should. No problems.
