So under normal circumstances, it's great and performs well.Fair warning though - In an emergency I found it far from ideal with a Garmin gpsmap 67i (I suspect the official Garmin option would be the same as its a similar design.) It quite easily slips down the backpack strap. It is also not in an ideal position if you need to carry someone else's pack on your front.The material is slightly chunky. It's noticeable under your backpack strap against your pectoral. It would be better if the velcro was under the front piece and the back strap was either thinner, perforated or three thinner straps with a slightly rubberised inner- the latter would also help with it fitting better on tapered backpack straps like mine.Worth noting I am using this on a Berghaus freeflow 35+* with a Garmin 67i, the latter is relatively heavy so one of the smaller devices might fair better.I'm going to keep it and probably go to work with a Dremel and work out how to better secure it.
