I needed flour tortillas for my huevos rancheros casserole. These tortillas were great. According to the recipe you place the tortilla in a pan of hot oil for just a few seconds until it starts to bubble and then turn it over until it bubbles on the opposite side. It is a quick process, but it works fine and softens tortillas enough before the baking process. Like the video said, it works much better than microwaving or just browning on a hot skillet. I think the oil is the trick here. After baking in the casserole, the tortillas were nice and done, not exactly creamy, but very soft. I would buy these tortillas again.
