Great ideas and guidance!
This book has some great class project ideas and an overall great resource to help teach art. If you know art, and are new to teaching it, like me, than this is a huge help. Helps you build a basis for teaching, even though you come from a corporate world. Definitely made me happy reading it, and it gets you excited to teach. You see projects that you want to do with the kids you'll be teaching!

Great for textbook.
I will be using this for the college class I will be teaching this fall. I have never used a textbook because I had never found one worth using. It was a special joy to find I knew some of the schools and at least one of the teachers whose students' works were used as examples.

Black and white photos
I was so excited to get this book, but was very surprised to see all the photos and examples are in black and white.... it's an ART book.... You can't even tell what some of the examples are because of the lack of color. I'm very disappointed and will be returning it.

Great Book!
I love this book! It is an Art Teacher's right hand! I refer to it often when I am stuck on what to do next. Even if I do not use the actual lesson, it inspires more ideas.
