Perfect solution to too many one-off wall adapters
I was recently on a trip and realized a gadget I brought along had a non-standard barrel connector for power and although I remembered the power adapter, it was incredibly short and would not reach the outlet. It only required 5 volts and I shook my fist angrily at the manufacturer for not supporting standardized usb power. Fast forward to me finding this incredible USB to DC barrel adapter on Amazon. It has a great cord length at 3.3 feet and I love that it can be adjusted to different voltage amounts. I really like that I can see the voltage amount right on the display so I can feel comfortable plugging in my devices to it. It also has a memory function so it will always come back on to the voltage amount you saved. Its great that it supports usb-c with a usb-a adapter included! Also the selection of barrel tips is pretty impressive. All of the instructions for use are printed right on the back of the display. I already tested this out with the gadget that annoyed me on my last trip and it works great. I am very happy with this purchase!

Adaptable to almost anything
Works as advertised and the number of connectors it comes with is amazing for the price. Really helpful in cutting down plug clutter on power strips.

9v supply at 250mA
This worked great for getting me 9v from my cars PD.

Excellent Product
Does exactly what it says, and does it very well. USB-C chargers or power banks with PD capabilities are becoming very common, though many are limited to 12V. This PD “trigger” is very handy for ‘dum’ devices using 5 to 20V. I particularly like the display showing what voltage you get, and the instructions printed on the back. Adding an optional bag of the most common DC tip adapters would be great! You need a basic understanding of DC voltage: feeding 20V to your 5V or 9V gysmo won’t get you more oompf, more light, more power, or more WFi coverage… you may get a click or a bang, and some smoke… and that’s it! If you were to use this thing permanently, a fixed DC trigger (can be found on Amazon) is a better option: unplugging/replugging the USB-C charger, or a power outage does reset the output to 5V. It is by design and it is a safe choice, but it is also a reminder that this is a super handy tool, not a replacement for the right DC power supply.

Read the description! Long press to save the voltage mode
Life saving tips: long press to save the voltage mode and press once to turn off the display, so it memorise the mode. I was testing this cable with a number of appliances. However, I presume that this cable lacks e marker chip that is essential to power up certain equipment, given its rating of 65W, it was not able to power most of the stuff I need it to work on with PD3.1. It gives so little power that my laptop is losing battery even though it claims to be charging. Given its price point I would rate it 4 star. I got myself a 100w PD to dc cable, despite battery is not charged but at least it seems to be in the pass through mode unlike this cable.

Great for for Acer Aspire 3 and other devices
Exactly what I needed to replace the 45W power supply used for Acer Aspire3 w: 3mmx1mm plug connector. Small in size and covers multiple voltages. In my case using the 20V output from a 45W or 65W usb-c power brick. Positives: - Comes with 10 adapters which allows for multiple devices - Voltage is selectable which is good if you know what voltage your device needs - Compact size - Works on any laptop with the compatible plug What you should know: 1- Note that this device is merely signaling the upstream USB-C port to provide the selected voltage. It is not up/downscaling the voltage itself so you do need a usb-c power brick that can take multiple voltages 2- since the selection is manual and it defaults to 5V, it’s probably good for travel but not for it to always be connected since it could unintentionally reset to an incorrect voltage 3- works on microusb and usb-c devices but again you need to set the correct voltage. it’s too bad it can’t auto detect

A must have for every geek or individual that needs a universal way of supplying power with USB-C
This thing is absolutely incredible. I lost my charger for an Acer Aspire 5 that came with a 65 watt charger. I purchased a replacement and the thing wouldn't fit even though it said it was compatible. So I decided to try this even though it's so tiny. I am blown away that it is literally charging my laptop as we speak with this tiny little device set at 20v. The laptop requires 19v to charge but 20v is not a huge difference or I would be concerned. Plus a lot of times you can have some voltage drop anyways. It is constantly charging at 45w which seems okay considering I can use the laptop and the percentage does not ever drop and continues to go up. I have used this to power a router, a laptop, a battery charger, a Sony PSP, my Pixel 6 phone and it just works. It's not the ideal charger for a phone because it won't detect that and I believe the other cables lets the phone acknowledge the fast charging. It's still charges at over 14w and actually close to a powerful cable I have which is surprising considering the phone does not display nor know of its capabilities. That to me is not a big deal because I don't use this to charge my phone and just did it as a test. I believe it just pulls the power from two cables or maybe I'm wrong but it seems to be a simple DC boost converter in a way. I am actually feeling the thing right now and it's not even that warm and definitely not hot even with it pulling 2.1A at 20v for the laptop. I just thought it would get hot because it's so small. I want to try and see if I can power even more powerful things, but my next powerful unit would be a laptop that requires way too much power at 230w so that would certainly destroy it or maybe it has a protection circuit because I did see it has error codes. I highly recommend you buy one of these for those emergency situations or just because you need something like this in your arsenal of tech goodies. I am going to buy another but it is listed in another place on Amazon for a couple dollars less so that's good. I am highly satisfied and I believe you will be too. You just got to get used to how it functions and the directions were well written enough where I could understand it very easily. This is one of the only cables I have seen like this ever. All the other ones are much larger or are straight usb cables with barrel adapters but those do not have any protection nor do they do any boost. It doesn't matter how this works as long as it works and it does. Just buy it and you won't regret it!

Guessing it has a voltage drop under load. The pump it was running has less power with this cable

I have a starlink mini that I wanted to power off portable batteries. I'd seen enough videos on YouTube that demonstrated this working, but finding a USB-C to Barrel lead was nothing short of a miracle. I went through 4 leads, all failed, the ability of this one to change the voltage was what made the difference. Works fantastic. On a side note; I've got an Anker prime 20k and the 757 battery, the later is only meant to support 5v, but I flicked the switch a couple of times until I got to 15v and its providing enough juice to power the mini. If its bad for the battery time will tell.
