Good off-brand transceiver
These are great sfp for major product lines. Make sure your make and model is listed as compatible.

Great value!
I use these to create fiber links from lake house to boathouse out over the water. I can run the fiber in the same conduit as the power, because the EMR doesn’t affect fiber transmission. I don’t get the surge from a nearby lightning strike like I do with copper(cat6) . That saves me a ton of equipment. I use them with inexpensive switches that have SFP ports and POE ports to power cameras in the boathouse. Provide Wi-Fi access out at the boathouse and back hall camera feed to the NVR in the lake house. I have used a half a dozen or more of these in the last two years and haven’t had any problems with them; even during the many lightning storms we’ve had lately.

Great 1.25G Single-Mode Transceiver
This transceiver was shipped in a metal tin and the transceiver was completely surrounded by foam with a slot in the shape of the transceiver. Pretty impressive packaging and obviously it worked because the transceiver worked right out of the packaging. I put the transceiver in one of my fiber media converters to test it. Plugged it in and fiber connected immediately. This is a 1.25G, 1310nm SFP. The ad said the transceiver was 20Km/12.43 miles but the transceiver states that it is a 30Km/18.64 miles. Not sure which one is correct because I have no way to confirm. I will take what is actually said on the transceiver as the actual specs of the SFP. At the time of this review, this transceiver was selling for $14.91. This is a great price for a quality 1.25G transceiver. I will for sure be getting some more of these for backups.

Plug it in, get fiber
I didn't have any problems with this in my Zyxel switch. Plugged it in, hooked up some fiber, and my device was connected.

Performs as advertised
So far I have only had the chance to test these vs putting into actual production, but they work in my cheap switches with SFP+ slots. I'm in the process of moving our backbone links from copper to fiber as the copper (big fat shielded unbendable cable) has become almost untenable to work with - especially in patch panels. These will be linking some of our slower (1gb) switches when they do go into production. Definitely recommend.

Works fine
I got this for a 1310nm connection I had to use, and so far so good. Speeds made sense.

Comparable and Performant
This module has performed well so far. It was immediately detected by both a Mokerlink and a TP-Link switch. The module worked well with both switches. They do reach 1G transfer and perform as expected. This was tested with a 5M SMF fiber patch cable. Performance was good with no drops or loss. For SFP+ plugs, you may need to force it to 1G in case it is autodetected as a 10G. The plug itself and the release bar are solid. The blue color on the release bar looks nice and makes it easier to find.
