I have not heard any rodent activity in my crawl space since installing in my crawl space. Also I have not had any ants in my house since plugging it in.

Really have high hopes for these, I bought 3 of them to cover my whole attic. Had to run some extension cords because they are not battery operated so that can be a hassle. Any electrician can add a plug in your attic there are almost always power boxes available, in mine there is just no room to work. I set them up to cover everywhere as high as possible so the laser lights had better coverage. They have been up for 10 days and we had minimal rat noise only one night for a few minutes, I am hoping is was just them trying to get out. After a month I will update. They are expensive, but if they work it is justified for me. Rats have torn up my attic for 20 years, my coax cable is almost worthless now. update 6-11-24, all 3 of mine stopped emitting laser light after a few months, you have to go in the attic and reset them for some reason, the setting from factory default is off so you have to physically reset them to on position, no biggy except for one of mine requires me to shimmy on my stomach for 15 minutes to get to it then reverse to get out, tough on a 70 year old. I still purchased a 4th one for over my kitchen as I think they work when they are one

I was skeptical. But seriously I haven't heard one noise in my attic im over a week. Pretty sure it was squirrels and they were loud loud. Dead silent.
