Bright blue light! It can be dimmed, and even turned off, but if you are easily kept awake by light shinning at you, this is not for you. Our bedroom is very dark at night and this thing casts a blue glare like you wouldn't believe. A red color would have worked better I think. I put a sheet of semi-clear red plastic over the face to tone it down some. The projector is also bright and I did the same there. But it is nice to see the time on my ceiling at night, once I got the brightness adjusted. It is nice that you can adjust the snooze interval too.Update to the above... within a day or two of my posting the above the seller emailed me to inform me that they wanted to correct my issue with the glaring blue light. They had already sent me a replacement clock in red color. Tried it last night and it is much, much better. Bright enough to read, even in the early morning light, but not filling the room with blue light. Very happy with the clock, and impressed with Patozon's customer service.

*See update below this*I purchased this to replace another projection clock for our bedroom. It works, but I’m not sure how long it will, because the construction seems pretty lightweight and cheap. I purchased the blue lighted numbers and regret it because the front display is nearly impossible to read during the day... even on the so-called bright setting. The blue light on the ceiling at night gives the room kind of an eerie glow. I’m not sure how the white lighted one would look, but I don’t recommend this blue one. If I were forced to buy it again I would definitely get the white one.* Update *The company contacted me and offered to replace the blue lighted one with the white. The white is much better! Well-illuminated digits which can be clearly read during the day. I am very happy with this one and extremely impressed with the customer service offered by Patozon.Thank you!

It's a nice little clock, just what I needed, the only two things I don't like are the brightness selection on the main screen (super bright, low and not visible) and the projection rotation only goes by 180 degrees selection, it would be better if it went by 90 degrees selections.

We bought this clock for the projection and we liked the blue light and overall look. We started using this clock in early March. By the first week of June parts of the display were burned out (specifically the first digit; for example, if it is 10:00, the clock will read 0:00 because the entire 1 is out). At least the projection is still working correctly so if it’s dark, we can look at the ceiling to see what time it actually is.

I would give it 5 stars if it had an auto dimming feature. The image on the ceiling does not look anything like the ads, but it works. It is actually a rectangular shape with the time in the middle of it. The blue light tends to light up the whole room, so it will function as a nightlight if you need it to. There are three brightness settings on both the clock face and the projected image. We set it on the dim setting at night, but then you can’t read the clock in the light. If we set it on the bright setting it can be read in the daytime, but it is too bright for sleeping. A red display might work better than blue, but I thought the blue was pretty. The controls for the alarm and the radio are terrible, but I dont’ use those features. I just wanted to see the time on the ceiling.

The clock is very bright and legible from anywhere in the room. For those sensitive to light, the display can be dimmed or shut off completely. The projection is also bright enough to see clearly on the ceiling and it can be inverted to give you a better angle. The radio and stereo speakers work very well. I haven't used the alarm yet, but I did activate it accidentally and it does appear to work. In short, this clock does everything I expected it to do. However, the radio volume set at the lowest level is actually a bit too loud. I was mostly interested in this as something to keep my bird entertained during the day. I really don't want it to be too loud. Also, while the projection clock can be inverted (flipped), it cannot be rotated. These issues are relatively minor, but that is why I left off one star.

The digital display started failing about five months after purchase and has progressively gotten worse since. Unfortunately, there is no information about contacting the manufacturer. Even though the protection part still works, I would not recommend this product for anyone that wants to see the time when there's any light present.Edit:I received a surprise replacement clock that appears to be an updated version. Hopefully this one lasts longer. If it does, I'll try to find that version on Amazon and leave a review for it.

Update 6/6/18: The seller sent me a new radio after my initial review and the new one works a lot better. Now I can use it in my kids room like I wanted to. Wonderful customer service since they replaced it without me even requesting it. And it really is a great product.I bought this for my kids to help wake them up in the morning and replace their radio, since they like to sleep to music. However, the lowest volume setting for the radio is loud enough to wake the dead. Definitely not something you could sleep to. However, the clock itself is great. Just not worth the price since the radio is unusable.
