can you safely use the shower protector for a bath

These have only been used for showering with no issues.

Can it be for the chest dialysis?

When my husband uses these bags for his Peritoneal catheter, he places it in making sure to cover where it comes out, and then to make 100% sure no water gets in, we take waterproof medical tape and go across the top of the bag. I know this may not answer your question, because I'm not sure what the chest catheter looks like, but these bags have been a lifesaver for my husband.

Are you able to use while using a pool area

As long as you get them on properly no water can get into them. My husband puts them on so that he can shower and they stayed sealed.

Why does it say waterproof because it's far from waterproof. i had to take my son to the emergency room because of this product isn't waterproof?

It's only a five min waterproof the product is not for long term use such as Showering or swimming or bathing I am so sorry your son went up in the ER I am a catheter user for dialysis and the best product that I have found that actually works if he is correctly for bathing showering swimming etc. anything to do with water is tegaderm it can hold up to one week
