pins are not sturdy they bend easily

One of the press plates was bent so unusable given it pressed chain sideways. So garbage. The other press plate the pin fell out. Meant for this to be a rivet tool and it wont work. Even with the c clamp mounted in a vice and (2) 14 mm wrenches with cheater pipes would not rivet my chain. Not the first time ive done the job. But first attempt with this tool and never again. Might be fine for a bicycle chain. Maybe. But immediately do your own quality control IMMEDIATELY when you receive item so you can return it when pieces of tool were defective already. I guess corporations decided to save money and fire the quality control department

The bar for turning the screw was missing . The first time I used this tool the pin pushing the link pin out collapsed and stick in the chain. The return spring in the screw is jammed in the screw . Poorly made tool

I have used this set several times now, it's my opinion this set is for light duty use and works as intended.I only have one gripe, the small diameter press pin to drive the chain pin out bends easily. I have to straighten it with each use. Otherwise I'm satisfied.
