Death by Eggnog (A Bookstore Cafe Mystery)

Death by Eggnog is a light, fun mystery that is a perfect read for Christmastime. While I wasn't able to guess the killer prior to the reveal, which I enjoyed, this wasn't a book that required a lot of beadwork. The characters were simple and basic enough to fill in the story well. Although there was some suggestion that the main character's love interest might not work out, that situation was never resolved; a bit of a frustration.

Great mystery with a holiday type theme. Centered around a coffee shop and a community theater. There is a murder with multiple suspects.

Book club was looking for a Christmas read and this is perfect. Easy to read during a busy time. Will go back and read other books in the series.

I so enjoy reading these books and it makes me feel like I am in that little town and friends with the person at the cafe "Death by Coffee". Can't wait for the next one to come out.

5th in a 7 book series. I'm already finished with this one. Enjoying the characters and each murder mystery.

Lots of red herrings, lots of suspects, and some crazy antics. Only slightly unbelievable. A light fun read. Amusing and enjoyable.

Another fun series that I am looking to continue for many more installment. Love the characters and the mystery is always challenging.

I enjoyed this book it's a good and easy read. It had me stumped on who committed the crime. I recommend it

The characters were simple and basic enough to fill in the story well. Although there was some suggestion that the main character's love interest might not work out, that situation was never resolved; a bit of a frustration ... but I guess normal for a series where the author wants you to pick up the next one !
