My grandson loved the dig and finding different real fossils and we liked the booklet that identified and explained what each was was. It wasn’t really easy to get the fossils out , so a real excavation which was good.

Best excavating kit we’ve had, our 5 year old said it was their best Christmas present. Easy to identify the fossils in the book too, would buy again for the hours of joy it provided.

Takes patience and a little time to discover the fossils really addictive and fun. Very exciting when a fossil is discovered.My grandson loves it

Quality of some of the fossils was questionable i.e. can't distinguish and broke apart but otherwise my son enjoyed discovering them.

This was a Christmas present from Grandma for our son. He's done many of these style digs and absolutely loves them. He was gutted to see 2 fossils missing this time. From other reviews it seems this isn't an isolated incident. Has anyone had any comeback from NatGeo regarding this, as for a kid's gift, it's disappointing. The other fossils were great and he really enjoyed the information in the book.

Bought this for my son for Christmas, we have had a few of these National Geographic dig kits in the past and he loves them !! Genuine fossils and comes with an information book which he loves to read 5* !!!
